ok i dont know about you guys but i am getting really sick and tired of coming on here and finding yet one more person leaving the game for good or taking an indefinite leave. not only is it making me sad that people are leaving but it is making me angry too. the majority of these people have been playing for years and it is sad to see that ntreev has let this game get so bad that they no longer want to be a part of it.

i totally understand the reasonings behind leaving the game. my one question though is why is ntreev letting it get to this point? do they really need permission to get rid of the hackers? do they want hackers to be their only player base? because that is what it is coming down to.

its like the bad customer service chain...............a customer receives bad service from a business. they decide to take their business elsewhere. but in the meantime they tell their friends not to go to that business due to bad customer service. their friends tell their friends and so on and so forth. and pretty soon that business is not going to have any customers at all and they will end up having to close.

is that what you want to happen here? so many people have left or are leaving already. please do something about this before it gets worse. get rid of the hackers once and for all. they are ruining this game for all of us and you are letting them.

now is your chance to shine and show us that you really do care before you lose more customers.

And if not to directly combat the hackers cheaters themselves, something else to keep the game feeling "worth playing".

Most of the legit players who have - especially recently - been seeing hacke cheaters get lolrares instantly are despairing that the hundreds of thousands of pang/Points they have accrued are apparently not enough.

So IMO the least you could do is throw them a bone. The obvious one that wouldn't cost you a cent would be to approach your Korean overlords once more and put the suggestion of Papel Shop increases back on the table. The law-abiding players (and them alone!) are clearly not accepting the so-called "intention", and if it needed saying again - the rate increase worked for OGPlanet, a host that allegedly lost Pangya because of the same hac cheaters but for some reason many more OGP rares are still floating around years later having survived the cheaters. Ntreev rares won't, unless player shops remain closed forever. lol

Not that I meant to make this post about the Papel Shop, but it seems the easiest bone to throw. Others do exist but most would be far harder to set up - primarily a trade system that doesn't exist anywhere, but I hear a few people saying this "guilds" thing would be appreciated too.

i agree with you mira.

papel shop rates really do need to be increased. that would be a step in the right direction. (a small one but hey if its in the right direction then im all for it lol)

maybe if the papel shop rates are increased, these cheaters will no longer feel the need to cheat in games to make millions of pang. because seriously what good is pang anyways? the shops arent open so you dont need pang for that. there have been no pang items added into the store so pang isnt needed for that. the only thing pang is used for right at the moment is papel lottery. the rates suck and you have to spend millions of pang to get anything out of it. so that right there is one of the major problems.

hey idea. if korea wont listen to the gm's is there a way that a bunch of us players could get in touch with them? send them a letter or something expressing our concerns and telling them the problem from our perspective? do you think they would listen? is that even allowed?

if we could do this i would be more than happy to be one of the people that gets in contact with them. its worth a shot. this game really needs to get back to being fun for everyone.

ok after reading your post scumsberg i am sort of wondering if pangya us has even taken any of these problems to korea? im starting to think that maybe they are just saying they have in hopes that it will alleviate our complaingin about the cheaters and all of the other problems and so that we will keep pouring money into this game.

i dont believe that our posters are only 10% of the game. i think there are just alot of people that dont visit the forums so they dont add their opinions in. but i see tons of people on the game stating their opinions on a daily basis.

i dont know. i used to enjoy playing this game but not so much anymore. i log in once or twice a day but dont really play as much as i used to. if something doesnt change and soon im about to give up as well. im sure that there is another server that would like my money just as much as this one.

And I don't believe that the segregation - accurate or not - is even relevant. When you have a sample of a group of people, unless that sample is split by a defining characteristic, it can be used to model the group of people, to a fair extent. In this case the only usable "defining characteristic" is "they use the forum" with the apparent follow-on logic being "because they want to complain more, ergo they are the biggest complainers".

Which is disagreeable for many reasons, most importantly that the forum has its own Positivity Crusaders™, and there are many (far too many) non-forum users hating Ntreev's actions even more than Scumsberg here.

I'd like to think my view, on the other hand, has actually improved of more recent times. The introduction of Gacha as a rare distribution method and the apparent repurposing of Scratchy Cards as to mainly be a re-release system I still consider a great move, and we got 2008 Halloween outfits back which I never expected. Two examples of a few things they've got right of late, which at least beats before when I felt they were doing everything wrong. Though they still have quite a way to go and the language + cheating issues in particular are getting a tad ridiculous now.

From my point of view, Ntreev does not care. They say they do, but actions speak louder than words or, in this case, do not speak.

Usually i believe others, but they just muck us players about. They clearly said they dont want to do an emergency maintenance, but they didn't use the regular one to do something. The issue could've been killed in action, but it was ignored AGAIN.

Yet, nothing has happened since 5 month, why should something happen know or in the former future? I hope something will change and the effort of many players that tried to help and change something isn't useless at least. Im done with it, my faith in Ntreev is gone. No more suggestions, no more informing other players, no more participation in these threads. (Well, some small harassment from time to time will be available)

Respectivly, many good suggestions have been provided and some of them still can be realized. Either ntreev will change its attitude and start caring about its players, or every last legit player will quit or migrate to another server. I hope the first will happen.

Very best hopes but no faith.        Thomas

Ntreev does not care. They say they do, but

Half-stepping out of the discussion for a moment, I'd like to note that I find an unnerving duality with both Ntreev and modern governments.

The latter are oft-criticised for being too soft on issues such as crime and (in some developed nations) immigration. I'm sure the term "nanny state" isn't exclusive to Britain, and the reason for this is because of being politically correct to the point of (in the critics' views) actually being detrimental to the country.

Of course the response is that the "naysayers" are focusing too much on specific issues or even incidents and/or that their focus isn't of concern to the nation as a whole. This response, while effective, is not wholly accurate and to return to the example of Britain, immigration has occasionally polled as of greater national concern than the economy lately.

And this situation rings true in the case of Ntreev and Pangya surprisingly well. Policies such as not banning unless 110% certain ("109% isn't enough!") and not banning IP ranges, regions or continents with a history of cheating and making various online games collapse are frequently criticised both on these forums and (perhaps moreso) in the game itself as helping bring the game to its knees.

But that strange comparison aside, maybe it's more fair to say that Ntreev do care, just not in ways some players agree with. How many that "some" accounts for is unknown, and it's a pity we can't accurately poll the law-abiding half of the playerbase in order for Ntreev to see what to consider a priority.

And here I come to share my two cents.

Ntreev really needs to fix up whatever defences they have against hackers/cheaters/whatever-you-could-possibly-label-them-as since whatever is in place...if anything is in place AT ALL, is clearly not working.

As for language problems, I don't have a problem with other people not being completely fluent in English but I'm completely lost as to why people who can't speak English even play on an English speaking server. That and the few arrogant Brazilians who have to share their conversations in portugese even after I've asked them to "whisper/PM/whatever" their friend and get told off for doing so.

But the language issue should come second to fixing up the ingame word filter/censor. It used to be incredibly weak and useless, now it's so strict I can't even say words like "mass" without it counting towards me swearing or something, something I certainly never did BEFORE such a strict filter was introduced tyvm.

However, I kind of think Ntreev just views PangYa as a self-sufficient cash cow and they're certainly milking it for all they can get without trying to put in any effort or work to improve on it. Once it has dried up due to the annoyed customer base finally getting sick of the treatment they have received I can see Ntreev ditching the game altogether. BUT, having said that, I still have faith that Ntreev will, EVENTUALLY, fix things up.

To sum my opinion up, Ntreev really needs to get their act together, on a lot of things, but I don't think it's been all bad. Just mostly bad. Which should be a sign to Ntreev to stop celebrating their small successes (and the nice income I'm sure PangYa is providing at the current time), and work on making the game a better and more enjoyable place for us all.

It is due to most issues raised in this thread that I have largely left this game. While I am not as much an old timer as many who have left, I have played it religiously for over a year. On the old publisher, I played it every single day, without fail, from the day i registered, to the day they closed the doors. When Ntreev took over, I did the same. I loved the game and community that much.

But frustration began to erode that, slowly at first, as frustration mounted not being able to see a red bag in the Papel Lotto for the specs and such, never winning one at all before they went out of the picture, Along side that, frustration at the bugged messenger system and the continuing failure to address it. Add in the frustration of there not being guilds implemented. More frustration at not winning any of the scratch card rares. It took a double rate for me to finally win something there. Then comes the expensive gacha system which I also could not win a rare on.

Add in the frustration of seeing the hacking problem grow worse BY THE FREAKIN DAY and noting done to address the issue, nothing even mentioned to assure us they are looking into it. Bringing us to today, when another desireable rare is in the Papel shop, but I am not allowed to even peek at winning it, and judging from the posts on the forums, few others are as well.

Then we bring in what could well be the death knell for my Pangya life. I found another free to pay game that I rather like. I find myself more desirious of spending money on that rather then this. I would rather spend my cash for HP Charms, then points to waste here trying to make pang I would just waste on a non existant chance to win a devil's tail

i simply can't think of a single reson to stay here on this sinking ship. I realize it doesn't make a difference to Ntreev if I stay or if I go. It should, however, make a difference that I am one of the many people leaving it for bluer waters. As stated earlier in this thread, Ntreev had best address the serious issues with this game, lest they be left with non paying yet rare rich hackers as their only players.......

I won a rare! OO

Yep Sadly too many other Players have quit, even known players like Yosh who was part of my Guild and a Great player who used to love Pangya Quit, Candy Girl has left (as far as I can tell), I haven't seen her on game lately at least, while on OGPlannet I saw her Every single day at any hour.

The reason?.... BAD ADMINISTRATION!! tense

I used to believe it was Ntreev KR's fault and look away from the real problem, now I see it clear, Ntreev USA is leaving this Boat to sink and they are trying to Take all the money they can from us, while they can.

I hear Pangya Is closing on the 9 of  December Edit: GM_Grimm Confirmed this was a Fake Notice (only a rumor) during the last GM Tourney so I guess Pangya is still profitable no matter how many hackers steal PTS items from Ntreev.

I was real happy when I saw this notice, But I guess money comes first, this is a business after all, and I do understand that.

I can't blame Ntreev or the Players for trying to protect their interests, but Its a good moment to find a new game to play...
