WNxWorry:This is $20 that Ntreev is out of.
I would have spent around $50 on scratchy cards tonight. Wanna get a tally going?

You will not make this putt... you jack***!
Kinda of a crappy update. I will never do an ecard with Ntreev. It took me 1600 ecards to win 1 set of ears with Alba rates and if you aren't changing rates, no money from me.
This is really crazy
Now a scatchy card = 1000 point = 1$
And the best thing is we can't buy it by point directly
" I really want give my money for Ntreev but they don't want to take it "
mrtrecon: Now a scatchy card = 1000 point = 1$ And the best thing is we can't buy it by point directly
Well, on the bleak brightside, I'd rather this system than pay 1k points per card directly lol
I would have spent atleast 50$ as well. But now we will only get 50 cards for 50 bucks, while in ogp we would have gotten 1000 for 50$
Bender is my name
Yup. Needs moar JP Drop Rates. If that's the case, I'll load up on accessories and such for my characters.

After recalculating the 95% confidence interval from Kanashimi's attempts with Scratchy Cards, I seriously think that the oiption to purchase scratchy cards exclusively is a must. If one were to gather the videos of all her attempts, the attempts should come out as the following (Correct me if this is wrong):
181 Swimsuit Set101 SSAF Set Two Part 163 SSAF Set Two Part 2156 Olympic Set Part 1128 Olympic Set Part 248 Elfen Ears Part 137 Elfen Ears Part 155 Elfen Ears Part 286 Elfen Ears Part 214 Elfen Ears Part 378 Elfen Ears Part 517 Elfen Ears Part 5
Now, if one were to construct a 95% confidence interval (Don't worry, I used the T-Interval this time instead of the Z-Interval, which was my mistake the previous time), the results should be the following:
"With 95% confidence, I estimate person would have to make 46.673 to 113.99 attempts to receive ONE rare. " (Confidence Interval statement ftw)
Now, if you were to convert Ntreev Points to USD value, the ratio is 1000:1. This means that a person would expect to spend about 47 dollars to 113 dollars to receive one rare. In addition, this rare can result in an undesired rare. Based on these results, I am sure that a small amount of people would even consider spending that excessive amount of money to win a rare that they might not desire. As a result, the intentional (Or at least this is the vibe I am getting) idea of using Scratchy Card as a bonus to encourage spending (Which leads to money to Ntreev) isn't going to pull the full potential revenue the system can offer to the company. Thus, allowing the selling of scratchies AND the bonus should be implimented to earn more revenue for Ntreev as well as reducing the cost to earn a rare (Which results in more players spending money on scratchies to attempt at getting a rare. This would pull more revenue from exclusive sales); everybody wins.
Now, if you want to see the Ti-83 result, here it is:
Anyone that studied Statistics AND knows the concept of the Confidence Interval should check if I am correct.
(.___. I never imagined I would be doing Statistics in the summer...)
Holy crap it feels like a math class all of a sudden. No offense but great research.

"Don't mess with Zevy. He's awesome and full of win!" - I forgot who said this...but whoever he is is getting some free points.

For the most part, that sums up what I was thinking. Except...more mathlike. Time to play the waiting game. I guess I'll farm for a Lucia Ticket.

Yeah and even with 1000 (and it was like 220 coupons for $50) you had such a low chance to win a rare...
I won't tell how much I spent, but hell, that was crap, lots of $50 recharge for NOTHING.
Now for $50 I have ITEMS (autocal etc) + a chance to get a rare.
Coming soon a joyful sign :3.
So are they going to put other chars rares after this? like arin elfen ears
If all you received for your 1000 points is 1 Scratchy Card, I could see the rare sets potentially getting expensive.
We're not selling Scratchy Cards at all though, we're giving them away for free while you buy other items. Sure, it might take a while to win a rare, but when you do you know that you didn't directly spend a dime on it. All the while, you're still getting the consumables for the scratch attempts that don't win you a rare.
By the way, someone asked this earlier... You'll receive (<Item Cost>/1000) tickets for every purchase, with any remainder rolled over for the future. So if you buy something that costs 2200 Points, you'll receive 2 tickets. Then you buy something that costs 8700 Points, and receive 8 tickets. Next, you buy something that costs 1300 Points and receive 2 tickets.

I loved my stats class last semester and you have some nice data there.
Unfortunately I remember spending over 200 e cards on rares with no success.
GMLoki:We're not adjusting the rates for scratchy cards, just the method of distribution for the cards themselves.
When you say this, are you saying that you are using OGP's rates, or rates given to you by Ntreev Soft?
GMLoki:Instead of selling the cards directly and making every scratch that doesn't result in a rare feel like a loss, we're giving away the cards for free as you spend your points normally, so any rares you win are just a bonus.
Not everyone has an unlimited supply of premium items that they want to buy. So sooner or later they will have to buy unwanted items just to get a rare they want. This seems like it will lead to even MORE dissapointment, not less.
anyone can help me, autopatch wont patch.
