I recently turned 16 so I will need to look for a job soon. Is Bigspot.com reliable? It seems pretty simple but I'm not entirely convinced yet. Anybody have any experience with this website that could help me out?
Don't use websites as a job. Besides you need to be 18 AND have a bank account for them anyway...
Get a job thing from your high school and search for a place that hires 16+, good luck it'll be pretty hard.

Snagajob.com is more effective, that website is geared specifically for high school students, some of the openings is good for college students. Just input your zip code and Snag A Job will tell you the generic places that are hiring, like fast food joints and retail stores. As KittenLina said, go to the Career Services office of your high school or even your Guidance Councelor and ask if they have any information about job openings for high school students.
