Note From the Editor It has come to my attention that a lot of people are missing the old newsletters that we used to have. These newsletters were a fun way of learning what the current events were without having to go to patch notes. At around the same time as Muse came out, these newsletters just stopped coming. Many people were disappointed, including me. Because of this, I've created an unofficial newsletter to (hopefully temporarily) replace the official newsletters. The Newsletter will be made to look like the old GC newsletters as best as possible, and will have similar content in them. A new newsletter will be made whenever there is a relatively large new patch. I hope that these newsletters will be able to inform as well as entertain just like the old ones did. About the UGCN Archive and General DiscussionThis new thread is created for one purpose and one purpose only, and that is to be more convienent to the reader. Keeping this in mind, it is imperative that if there is any bugs, mistakes or typos, as well as suggestions, please notify me on this thread. This thread will be used for the general gc community to access any of the current or past articles easily. It is also a place to to post suggestions and/or your feelings of the UGCN in general. Please note that discussion for the newsletters should be contained in that issue specifically, and not on this thread. Also this is the thread to post on if you would like to offer help to the UGCN crew or would like to become a staff member.
Support Us!Would you like to support the UGCN, but can't or don't have enough time to? If so, you might be interested in raising awareness of the UGCN by keeping a UGCN Reader Badge in your signature. These badges will be made to fit whatever major event is going on at that time, so they will change often. That means if you don't like the current badge, you can always wait for the next one. Don't worry if your badge is not currently in use, it'll just look cooler if you're the only one wearing it. To take a badge, right click, and copy the url. The UGCN crew is in constant need of new and helpful members to join the staff. When I say this, keep in mind that you need to actually do work to stay on the staff. There is little tolerance here for people that sign up right away and refuse or can't do any work, then take credit after an issue is done. There is currently room for:

The staff list shows the current employees of the UGCN (Unofficial Grand Chase Newsletter). Keep in mind that these are only the actual staff members, and guest members are not listed. If a guest member becomes a frequent sight at the UGCN community, we would be glad to create a "regulars" section. There is a link to each user’s profile that can be used to check on a staff member, as well as a quick and easy way of contacting each other.

What the Unofficial Newsletter Has to Offer
The goal that we here at the Grand Chase Unofficial Newsletter strive for is the satisfaction of knowing that we've delivered a newsletter to match, or even outmatch what the old newsletters were essentially made of. This will take a long process of trial and error, but hopefully the end product will be something that everyone can enjoy. Keeping this in mind, criticism is much welcomed. Along with this, the Unofficial Newsletter wants to be able to report everything that's going on, not just the current events. This might at times call for guest editors, journalists, and even guest visual designers. So if you ever have the need to have an article written, feel free to leave a comment on any of our user pages.

UGCN Sponsoring Service
The UGCN is excited to announce a new feature! This feature will be used to gain publicity as well as help out any aspiring people that want to hold events and/or tourneys. This is how our Sponsoring Service works: To start the Sponsoring service, please contact a UGCN editor or myself. In this conversation (that may be sent via private messages), please state what you need help with and why you would like us to help you (this should not be any arbitrary reason, so you can't put something such as because I want you guys to help). The UGCN is willing to give two services at this point in time. They are: (1) Give an advertisement of your event in our next issue to help publicize your event, and (2) help gather cash points to give out as prizes. We are currently willing to give out: 10k cash per week. Once you've done that, and have been given an A-OK by me, please place the following image at the beginning of your event thread:
