If you disagree with the method of entry or want to see a different bracketing, we're open to suggestions.To clarify the line on "exploits" in terms that the players have requested in the past: Auto Shot is not okay, grabs are okay, steps are okay, Dark Assassin's "air otto" is not considered an auto shot since it cuts off at 5 hits; any more would make it unauthorized. Infinite combos which do not terminate at 5 hits (lire otto, for example) will be disqualified if they exceed 5 hits.

Will their spot just be given off as a bye?
Will the voters be allowed to re-cast their vote?

If a player formally declines their nomination, the spot will be given to the next in line in terms of either number of votes or time of last received vote. Voters will not be allowed to re-cast their vote under any circumstances. If you think the person you want to vote for might not want to play, you might want to cast your vote for someone else.
We're giving you all week to vote for a reason, feel free to take the time to snoop around.

So I'm guessing that means, we can nominate people who are forum banned, but not in-game banned?

If you nominate someone who is forum banned, they will not be eligible to play, since your forum and play account must be in good standing to participate in a tournament. Therefore, the vote would be wasted.
If a nominated player does not decline their nomination before the bracket is posted, and simply does not show up, it would result in a bye.

Oh... The wording made me think that voters must have a good standing in-game and forum account, however the nominated must only have a good standing in-game account... I should have made the distinction between "eligible" and "capable"
