If you have some cash on the side. Buy the one day experience bonus for 100 Ntreev Points or the seven day experience bonus for 500 Ntreev points in the Pet Shop Tab. Then do as IQer suggested. This is the best way to do it. No doubt about it.
But unless your eager to evolve it. The Slime does not offer much in terms of stats. Quite pointless at level 40.
Slime offers a wide variety of grab's, as well as looking spiffy :D
And I always though that the pets gained the square ammount of whatever their level is. o__o

Slime, being the only pet offered at the price of Attendance points. "Free at one point" Has extremely low stats, regardless of it's level.

Slime looks awsome to me, so I don't really care about it's stats.

They get Level*3 exp, for non evolved, and Level*2.4 exp, for evolved
not sure about Gacha pets though
When you win, never calculated for loses though, but why would you be losing in trial forest :P
