how can i solve my problem w/ error 7c?...
i really want to have Grandchase in our home but because of this error,i can't enjoy grandchase anymore.
i dont know..
I believe they aint going to do nothing and hope that next patch solves this, maybe they think its becouse people have SP3? well they are wrong, cuz i could play normaly yesterday, and i cant play today after patch, but i have SP2 and32-Bit editions, but i have a vista, but that shouldnt be a problem, cuz it wasnt all the time, or they are just trying to get rid of vista users and people with SP3?
didnt knowhow to edit, so sorry for double post, but incase if it helps to someone, reinstalling did the thing, and game works for me again
Is the "initializing patcher" thing staying on forever related to this? =/
bump -.- i want answered.
ok.The GG can't update.I verifyed my connection,firewall,evrything,but still doesen't works.I re-installed the GC,and now the AVG fiended a virus in main.exe.Idk what's going on...Before this the game worked perfectly....
it's can't initialize the patcher if your connection is bad (doesen't works).
ok,it's working!but...there's still a virus...i allowed the request to don't Quarantine...i hope i didn't do nothing wrong :\
if u have a problem with error 7c..
u can usually solve it by using system restore point..
go back to the restore point where u havent installed the sp3 pack...
or u can manually uninstall the sp3 by going to the
control panel>uninstall programs>windows update> then find the sp3 and click uninstall/remove
Nice going guys. You ruined the Game!
(response to GM's.)
how do you know what bit your system is????
never mind i figured out if it does not say in the general tab of my computer properties then it is 32 bit
possible remedy for running Grand Chase on 64 bit operating system...
is it possible to set the desktop settings to run in 32 bit found by right clicking desktop and going to properties and going under the settnngs tab.
also try right clicking the Grand Chase shortcut and view properties and under compatibility try to run it under a previous version of windows such as windows 2000
Please get back to me and tell me if any of that helps
