I got SP2 and 32-Bit Windows XP...Yesterday was working fine,1st day playng this game.But today when I run grand chase,after patching it runs it self and gives me error 7c AGAIN: I have SP2 and 32bit windows XP and yesterday was working fine....
I hate coming off rude and all but. I don't really know a flat out nice way to say this.
Windows XP SP3 IS IN NO WAY IN ERROR WITH NPROTECT ENLESS ITS THIS
YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT A CORRECT CHECK ON YOUR FILES USING IT!!!!
i can play Gunz,flyff,gunbound,soldier front,Lunia, and Bots all on Windows Xp SP3
They all use Nprotect.
Here is my arguement. Nprotect does indeed fail. But if sp3 was really having an error with Nprotect at this igsact moment. Then i wouldn't be able to get onto ijji gunz without an Agent Error. Ijji fails at support. But They know how to put checksums of the file fairly decently to where it causes only a little bit more lagg for the scans and DOESNT CAUSE A HUGE ERROR WITH WINDOWS XP SP3.
Vista being in error with Nprotect is usual. Windows XP only happens when Microsoft And Nprotect BOTH PATCH AT THE SAME TIME. WHICH HASN'T HAPPENED IN A FEW MONTHS.
My suggestion. Ohhhh idk. Make a better Check system? I mean seriously the only thing this game has to worry about is Hexkey editors. Not .dll hacks because they would be completly pointless. And would cause unneccessary lagg. As for the hexkey editing keeping them from running. hmm. I would just patch the ADDRESSES and not try to make Nprotect scan for every ****ing thing. Because the more commands you put on Nprotect to scan hex's the bigger chance you get of it finding an XP system file as a hex editor.
Personally I AM NOT DOWNGRADING TO XP 3 ON MY DESKTOP.
I REALLY DOUBT THIS GAME WOULD WORK ON MY MACINTOSH'S LINUX
AND I HATE VISTA PLAIN AND SIMPLE BECAUSE I'D RATHER USE WINDOWS ME WHICH IS NOW CURRENTLY THE 2nd BIGGEST RAM SUCKER RIGHT NEXT TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS

p.s. As to why i have like 1 post. It's because normally i just search the forums and never post. But the blaming windows xp sp3 and Nprotect when both are innocent for once in their entire lives of being created. Got me in a uhmm off mood.
EDIT: HAH I got grand chase to work with SP3 and it proved my concept. I went into regedit and changed a few hex values which renewed all of my system 32's hexs restarted my comp then ran GC. BOOM it worked. That proves to myself that i'm right on this issue.
My system gets this error. I don't know if this is the error or not but sometimes my computer lets me play Grand Chase but most of the time which is 95% time it won't let me play and I get this error
Make the game compatiable with mac. Most because there are so many hybrid games, its obviously not that hard.
Most people playing this game are probably on a windows partition anyway. And it's like I heard someone say
on unnofficial forums regarding this issue... until it's compatible with sp3 more people are just going to hack.
People are spiteful and impatient and there are tons of forums on hacking this game, and many are just bypassing
gameguard to actually play. If you don't hurry the process of making it compatible, people will do more than just hack
to play, once gameguard fails other hacks are possible.
This is bullcrap, MapleStory works on my computer with SP3!

Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution.

WOW, ntreev you are either wrong or lying, or just too lazy to fix this problem for other desperate gamers who wants to play Grand Chase! C'mon, I can play every other game with SP3 and the same game guard, so what's your story? Plus, you can atleast write down on the download page that "GRANDCHASE CANNOT RUN IF YOU HAVE SP3", then if you did, you guys wouldn't have made me waste space on my computer and wasted my time. You guys can do better than this...Seriously. Please work on this, instead of making us happy your doing the opposite.

They do not have your computer and cannot fix your problem. The game was created back when Windows XP was just out. Ntreev didn't make the game, Kog did. Your concerns are null at this point. Either use the workaround that is suggested, or don't play the game. Ignorant is not entirely bliss.

Lol, 1st, you didn't have to reply back because i'm not talking to you. 2nd this is not your concern, and you have no bussiness with MY concern. If kog made the game, Ntreev could moderate it, like they do with new items, and etc. You just entirely wasted 20 seconds or w/e the heck you spent the time making up this rubbish reply, nice job making me go over topic for your mistakes.

I have plenty of my time on my hand. Secondly, yes I know this is not my concern, but since this is a forum where all discussions are all welcomed (as long as no violations occured), I offered my opinion. Ntreev can moderate some parts of the game, however, they cannot make it where they can change the requirement of your computer specification. Rubbish or not, a reply is a reply. Some of which help others if they don't help you. Take it or leave it.
I have 32 Bit and Service pack 2... still doesent work
I am using Windows 2003 32-bit and I still get Error 7c. Maybe the problem is not 32-bit or 64-bit but is Windows 2003, because Windows XP 64-Bit Edition Version 2003 and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition's kernel is Windows 2003's kernel.
On my old computer, I had Windows Vista, no problems there. Now I have Windows Vista, 64-bit, Gameguard Error 7c. What's the difference?! It's just a practical doubling of RAM, why is it to incompatible with so many games!
