ronan vs elesis

hey i'm new and i was wondering what elesis and ronan strengths and weaknesses are before i make my decision.  Can u guys help me out by giving me info such as who as better skills, combos etc??  thanks a lot to any1 who responds

Well let's see a elesis would be better against lire's cause it has a better chance deflecting against the arrows in pvp. If ur talking about dungeons what elesis has is that elesis has a long combo which does quiet i lot of dmg. Not enough compared to the ronan i say this is because if ur always knocking down u won't kill quick enough with ronan's if u don't knock down and just press zzzzz then the last 2 hits does alot of dmg and it doesn't knock down so u can keep attking like that which is like a never ending combo unless the monster goes into super armour mode to attk u.
What elesis beats ronan in is speed elesis is alot quicker than ronan's u can also do a combo which doesn't end but i rather have Ronan
Ronan's dragon knight would really suck cause all it really does is lift everything into the air that's why i don't use it much dragon knight is more like for pvp.
Spearman is really easy to otto slash and also has good combos spearman has great mp skills except for the first one but everyone in pvp would use the first one just to skill avoid other than that spearman is good.
If u where to ask me which i would prefer i would say ronan for sure but in a matter of fact elesis vs ronan it depends on what kind of fighting style u like even if somone where to have the same lvl and they where killing each other it all depends on skills and how u play it.
 

Knockdown should never be an issue with either character. If you complain about knockdown it's because you can't use the character right.

It depends on your playstyle. Do you prefer an old fashioned, harder yet more effective playstyle or a newer, easier to use, not as effective but still very effective playstyle?

Elesis is an older, more complicated style of fighting while Ronan is a newer, easier to control playstyle. Comparing only the first jobs, Elesis really has no real ranged attacks, her throw is harder, but in the right hands she's extremely deadly. Ronan has some good ranged attacks and melee attacks, but isn't as powerful or deadly as Elesis. Don't get me wrong, he's still very deadly, but compared to Elesis he's like the assassin's assistant. Also, Ronan has 6 skills but no cash skills, while Elesis has 3 skills and 3 cash skills.

Second job Elesis is a lot harder to move but she has a deadly range. She can lock enemies in a combo more easily than Ronan's second job. Her grab gets much easier to pull off and is one of the best grabs in the game. She also has 2 instant kill moves, 3 skills, and 1 cash skill. Ronan's second job gets a dive attack which is REALLY helpful for pvp, but useless in dungeons. He has a very easy to pull off grab, which causes him to be deadly as a grabber. He has 4 instant kill moves, 6 skills in all, no cash skills. He can still air dash and run unlike Elesis, but at the cost of a shorter range.

That's my views at least. It's your choice to accept them or not.
