I dont think this is the same mechanic behind zhon's bomb otto (or any other melee otto for that matter).

The trick is you walk to the ledge, and without releasing the arrow key, double-tap quickly the arrow key to the opposite side and cast a skill just as you start to dash. If you do it right, your character will actually slide backwards a bit (it's more noticeable on mage).

Walking off an edge casting a skill backwards is actually a lot easier than doing the bomb otto.

Lol showoff zhon.. but that's basically it xDD easier to show than explain i suppose <333 ty for the proof zhon

Now if zhon mastered that..he can throw bombs infinitely extremely fast xDDD i would hope to see someone capable of this someday but i'm afraid it's too impossible T.T

Mechanics for backwards skill: Walk off ledge and turn back so your character pops back up and use skill the instant you're back on ledge.. your character will still be sliding and you can skill backwards off ledge..

this can also be done with any other move or used to otto 5x faster than down z otto with melee characters.. again, it's near impossible to perfect so be advised not to depend on it during real matches... I find doing it with warlock is the easiest if anyone plans on practicing

So it's similar to Lire's edge otto? Where she walks off, shoots an ariel arrow, and pops back up.

Same thing with different timing?

@Beard, Lire can't run or air dash, therefore she can't break step. There's nothing to break. Archer cannot do any steps I believe

I believe she just does a breakstep and lets go of the mp bar as it starts.

I do this with elesis, never tried it with lire O.o, i think breakstep makes backwards sliding easy, instead of doing demon.

Ledgings a fail name :( I like sliding so much more.

And just fast fingers I think. Sliding off while switching directions and releasing mp is all I can think of.

Make for a hell of a lot more impactful flame arrow

That is called ledging and is very easy to learn. If you didn't notice, watch the video again. He actually falls off a ledge and shoot the skill BACKWARDS, thus the name BACKstep.

I'd like to see you turn and WALK BACKWARDS and fall off a ledge with ANY character.

The point was for someone who knew how to do it to explain it.
