Lol. Yeah, this guide isn't that great now that pro Arme players have found ways to bypass all challenges. :/

And firebolt spamming shouldn't kill ANYONE alone. >_>

Mages are tough to play. x_x I used to think they were so "cheap" but ever since trying them out in PvP. Love. xD

I saw this mage do a combo that involved Pentagram.

First Stone Curse and then with right timing cast pentagram. When the pentagram hits, stone curse again.

I know I know its really long ... BUT you can search for the movement you are looking for easily. I also described each move and where they are good for. Nymph wants to say this personally, FIREBALL SPAM FTW!!!!!!!!! It's their only way to effectively kill knight... so why not use it? but if you don't know how to effectively use fireball, it's useless ^_^... so carefully read how to FIREBALL SPAM MASTER!
Knowledgement before start : Mage is target of all characters, hopefully you understand by the time you read this. But mage doesn't have mcuh things to fight against speedy archer and knight ... along with desperate dasher, ronan. But do not worry. Combination of mighty mage is so strong, they will fear once you master all the skills for mage. Unlike other classes mage is mostly depended on high damage combo.
By the way, forget about fighting archers... I'v had level 68 mage... archers were just bull... Only chance to win archer is reverse gavity combined with stonecurse while lighten dash
Lighten Dash : Dash + ( Down instantly ) + ( when you reach 2nd platform ) + ( Down again instantly ) = Extra boost = Lighten dash
This is performance has to be done in time of half of dash. So you can give full dash performance. To know if this is working, from top left of elven forest dash down to floor without stopping.
Dash that performs while you are dashing downward through platform to recieve extra boost.
Skills : Since mage do not have so much special attack like archer, coming up with combination skill is important.
1st bs = very strong skill, but once you miss the attack, enemy has chance to attack you ( minor second gives them a chance, proknights always take this chance to combo mage).
2nd bs = slaughters everyone front of same platform, yet once cast is over your back is exposed to enemy ( only weakspot found ).
3rd bs = slaughters everyone in the map if casted on lowest platform. ( it only goes to platform where mage is standing. So lower you stand, more enemy will be in danger ) When casting this spell, make sure nobody is around the screen. At least make sure they arn't near where you are being targetted such as grab or skilled by other character.
1st ws = Gives little protection, useless. BUT when you cast this spell, the enemy is trapped in delay for momment. YOU are able to move for short amount of time. Apply skill, grab anything you want once they are trapped.
2nd ws = Reverse gravity is one of ultimate special that has nearly no weakness but counter-skilled by knight. ( such as first special while you cast for momment ) Once you are in the survival room, this is one of best skill you can use. ( along with stone curse... example below! )
3rd ws = Don't even bother.
[ 1st bs + 1st ws ] = Stone curse the enemy, once they are on the ground lying, about to get up , cast delay along by their body and once they get up, they are trapped in delay and it's your free turn to grab them.
[ 2nd ws + 1st bs ] = Reverse gravity the enemy. Once they are falling near you, you cast stone curse to give falling damage + stone curse. Most of the time, enemy will be unprepared to shake the keyboard and they will gain more damage physically and mentally.
[ 2nd bs + 1st ws ] = When lightening is over and enemy is near you about to smack the back, cast white magic and grab with delay before lightening invincibility dies off.
[ 1st ws + grab ] = When you are not sure about where enemy is going to land and if you want to make sure they are grabbed, you cast white 1st special to gain your free-delay and quickly decide if you are able to grab or not. *fire ball spam works best btw*

Fireball Spam STRATEGY ( does not work against archer )
I'll only describe two maps Elven Forest and Gorge of oath
Elven Forest : You don't really have straight line as you do in forgotten city. But what you have is lighten dash if you have read.
Spam in the bottom platform left side is your KEY. Spam much as you want when knight is still in your monitor ( right side ). Once they are disappear to upper platform, theres only 1 way to go. Predict yourself upward platform and start spamming upper platform and once they are near, stone curse. Again locate yourself down to lowest platform and start spamming again or save MP. The key part is... knight has to be certain distance away for this to happen. Practice left Lowest platform fireball spam to left 3rd platform fireball spam along with your prediction. When knight decides to just.. dodge your fireball, simply reverse gravity from below when knight is just standing still. ( he has to be upper platform since you were using fireball from below if you did what you are supposed to... )
Gorge of oath : This map is designed to slaughter much as you want, as long has you have no attacker. Left side is your key to success when theres no enemy. Keep spamming until you save 2nd mp to cast reverse gravity to opposite side. ( works great on survival ) Keep playing dirty until enemy runs to left side. It will be their worst mistake. Fireball spam about 2 - 3 balls to left side, and teleport right after you finish firing. Once you teleport to opposite side, fireball will be there to cover you and you can cast whatever you want. ( any skill combination you think is nessary to kill )

Actually the Rune attack is really good to use. It doesn't do damage, but it has the best knockback in the game and you can combo with it so much. It's awesome against archers when they're far away from you. Also I'd like to say that firebolt spamming and the occasional rune attack is possibly the only way to beat an archer until you get up close. I'd just like to point that out.

its magic pentagram i think. This thread was about Nymph's stradegies. If magic pentagram is not listed, then you;ll never see nymph use it. It's realy bad in PvP so who would use it? =O

Unless they do a combo of Magic pentagram than charge for meteor
