When I tried to use the spin attack, I would barely connect half the time. I guess I just have to practice the timing more. I found it useful to place a booby trap when an enemy was walking towards me, then quickly unload a ton of bombs underneath him while he's in the air. Then repeat. xD And I use the cloud when there's a big group of enemies in one spot, then a teammate can go in there and combo them.

I'll have to practice with the 3rd MP bar too, I didn't use that at all.

Yeah, the dash attack is your main source of damage for most enemies. Just dash/jump behind them and start wailing on them.

Bomb is excellent for Super Armor enemies, provided you can lay them quickly by jumping between platforms. They're also good for getting the jerk-of-the-run to leave the game, by planting them on the portal until they get annoyed and leave. ;D If you cannot plant them fast, it may be best to stick with Dash Attacks.

Cure has obvious uses. It makes everyone love you. :D

Making shields for everyone is generally pointless. They're gone in one hit.

Creating items is good if you have no need to use your MP attacks. Just watch out for bratty kids that follow you around waiting for an item to steal.

Booby Trap, I rarely use in dungeons. It's supposedly good to use on a group of downed enemies for some quick damage and MP growth, but dash attacking works better for me.

Poison Cloud can be useful in some situations, but since most enemies have at least one attack that makes them temporarily invincible, those situations are few and far between. It can be fun to just give a Dark Mage a taste of their own medicine, though. :P

The Bazooka Of Death is excellent versus Super Armor enemies. I tend to kill the hulking guards of Wyrm's Maw in one hit with it. In addition, if you use it properly, you can gain a lot of MP. Sometimes, you will get back all three bars. Sadly, I have not learned the correct distance yet. :\

There is one way to use bombs for some nice damage outside of spamming them on a Super Armor enemy. If you blow an enemy into the air using a bomb and then dash attack at just the right time on their way down, you can hit them multiple times with an Aerial (and sometimes Back) Attack Bonus. It's hard to do in someone else' room, though, as even the slightest amount of lag can throw it off.

Now that I know how to pvp with alchy... how do I do it in dungeons? xD

I played with her for the second time in a dungeon, and someone asked, "Why are you throwing bombs everywhere? Why don't you just pot spin?"

So for the alchemist dungeon pros, do you mostly use bombs or just pot spin and charge MP? I feel like bombs hardly do anything, but it's really fun.

I honestly don't play against nephy much, and when I do, they're not good nephs, but I might as well try to help.

My usual approach to nephy is to run. On pretty much any other course, I don't think that Neph should be able to catch you. However, as you said, Hell Bridge causes problems >_>.

My current favourite tactic on courses like that is to combo booby trap and punch. Now, I don't know how neph is affected by booby traps... but against most people, you put a trap, then as they hit it, punch, and you can hopefully dash to the side and potsmash on their way down. This does a more than decent amount of damage. Obviously, most people aren't going to fall for the trap once they see you place it, but I usually count on them to try to jump over it - once they jump, it's simple to hit them with the punch.

Another thing I can think of for general neph fighting would be to taunt with a bomb. On a course like elven, you can place a bomb at the top and taunt on it, and it will enable you to move due to the explosion. It's not really that effective, but it's annoying enough that some people would stop using neph.

I just can't stop talking o-o But I think that another part of the problem is that you're using castle lord. Now, we all know that castle lord is LOVELY, but, like Cow said, a full attack set is often important in C+. This was written BEFORE Myurin. It is even MORE essential now. If someone uses neph to run and heal, I don't mind, because I know I pretty much have to go for a one/two shot kill anyway.

EDIT - Just realized that you never said it was a C+ room. Ignore the castle lord stuff. My mind is permanently stuck in C+. C+ is fun =D

I've hit a new wall with Alchemist. :D

What's a good way to beat a Nephilim? I fought one on Hell Bridge a few times today. Their Super Armor made bombs ineffective, and the no-grab thing was a massive pain as well. Doing dash attacks to get them away wasn't working well, as their attack hit me before they fell down. And just trying to escape them until their transformation ran out didn't work either, as he was able to attack the point at which I would "rematerialize" from the dash.

Probably didn't help that he was 10 levels higher than me, and that I had equipment from 10 levels below myself (Castle Lord). Their damage on me was pretty high, so I could rarely charge MP long enough to get a Cloud-Cure out... Not that it mattered, since their defense and vitality were so high that even triple-hitting them with the dash attack after the Cloud-Cure ended wasn't enough.

Pixie is always great in the cloud, but I'm not quite sure if you should throw a bomb, even if they're focused on wiggling out. When I'm in a cloud I ALWAYS hold MP.

I'll look at the bomb thing later. (The body crawl)
