Yes, I'm still alive~ though this next event might disprove that statement lol. Most of you don't know, but I'm being deployed to Afghanistan in May, so I've been busy training ^^. Well, I have a 96 this weekend and I've recovered enough to be able to defend myself somewhat~ so LETS HAVE AN EVENT >:D. This is going to be a HUGE event, and I need EVERY AVAILABLE SAGE to participate. The event is gonna be a "meet the sages" type event with massive rewards o_o! Well, time to stop talking up a storm and actually type out the format eh!?

Guess I'll explain what each does:

Seven Sages: In charge of hosting tournaments/events hosted by Einlion. All other members may assist though :D.
Site Team: Help regulate the flow of information related to events both player hosted and site related. Most of the ppl in this team are avid forum-runners.
Hosting Team: In charge of hosting tournaments/events not hosted by Einlion. This includes all other events held by members of the Sages. All members of the Sages may assist in this effort, but I gave this it's own category so Sages can have help from non-sage players.

If you have any questions, send them to me via the convo feature or ask your team leader to contact me. If you wish to be part of another team, give me your reasons and it will be considered. All convos will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis with a response guaranteed within a 24 hour period.

The application format remains unchanged as follows:

IGN: Sophocles

Reason for joining: To be the unofficial ATM for GC? <--lol

Time Zone: Currently Central/Pacific time (2 hours ahead of site time)

Active/inactive: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday/ Wednesday, Thursday

Recommendations: You get these from Sages o.o (Sophocles, Myko (whichever name he has now), ArkMaster364, Rohini, ZanthosAzure, etc.)

I guess the info is subject to change, but I don't think it's neccessary when you consider that a follow-up interview will be performed. Well, I wish you all the best of luck @_@.

It... was... insane o_o

The tigers were annoying, the Jump stage was rage-filled, the Mini-boss was a pushover, but the boss... UGH, Yamini was epicly hard Dx

But my Judgement... Blessed with epic Luck... a 20+ min battle and not a single Dark Judgement... Over 30 Holy Judgements... Lucky ftw

Anyways... Meteor Slash barely worked... I found using Mega Slash to be WAY more effective... Specially for dodging the Lunatic Forces... I was always close to her, and when she did Lunatic Force... All of them hit me at the same Time and OHKOed me xD Mega Slash was a Life saver...

Anyways...

40 mins, 11 Natals, 3 Bonus Lives and 9 Large Potions... what a Fail... On

Hello, instead of some of the forumers making new threads. I decided to make one that you can all chip in with your discovery of Ntreev's Hidden Adjustments.

Adjustments on 11/17/09 Patch

SYLPH ARMOR CAN NOW BE DROPPED by monsters AT ALTAR OF JUDGEMENT & Wyrm's Maw
Note: Sylph are perm drops, Lvl 60 and have the same stats as general armor.
Elesis's Ninian Spear has 390 Attack...
Aron armor can be dropped from Aron, the Miniboss of Altar of Judgement
Your allies HP bar in dungeons will appear all the way to your right side
When starting GC, you will have ur default keys instead of your custom keys on (Fixed)
When using all your potions inside dungeons, it will not disappear until the end of the dungeon, as in the picture will stay there, but u cant use anymore
Spell Knight's Holy Bless has been Fixed
Dokaebi's attack boost has been fixed, dunno how its been fixed ( somebody tell me how and confirm please)
Nova's Training Helm is spelled... Nova's's (Fix Please)
Friend List Whispering does not work... (Fixed)
Seal Breaker Drops from PvP now.
Altar of Judgement is seen as Trial Forest in Friend's List.
When turned into wolf from Ryan, a black bar censors the pet's name... I wonder why... (Been Fixed)
From 11/10/09 Patch, Fighter's Chi Wave against cornered monsters still have not been fixed.
From 11/10/09 Patch, Spell Knight's Blast Bomb Visual Glitches have not been fixed
From 11/10/09 Patch, Spell Knight's Lunatic Force Visual Glitch have not been fixed.
Siren Shot can only hit twice from a certain distance.
In Practice Mode, you can not choose your opponent, they removed the ability to click the Opponent, thus making us go click the opponent tab instead.

Adjustments on 11/10/09 Patch

Ryan Original Twin Blade has been nerfed (first hit does not knock opponents that much higher)
All characters can get countered just by holding A and lose no MP. (needs to be fixed ASAP) only ryan should be able to do that with his charging attack.
Ryan's Dash has been Fixed A.K.A. his dash wont hover a bit at the end of his dash like hes having trouble stopping.
Wolf's Stance, Taunt, and Combos has been Altered
Most characters have their aerial dashes fixed.
Ryan can now say TITAN's AXE~!
Ryan's BackStep has now been added to the list on Practice Mode
Ryan's Axe Crush (Mid-Air + Down Z) lifts the opponent when hit lands.
Ryan's Jump attack has a 180 Degree Range Attack. (tested it) from the top of ryans head to below him, his jump attack can hit the opponent
Abyss Knight's Soul Wave will pull them inward towards you instead of the other way
Spell Knight's Holy Bless gives 2 buffs in one (Warning: Do not use otherwise it will be bug abusing)
Spell Knight's Lunatic Force has a visual glitch A.K.A. more than one Lunatic Force shows up when hit
Spell Knight's Blast Bomb hits more than once before knocking down.
Warlock's Jump attack only hit once
SwordMaster's Combo shakes the screen on 2nd hit and 1st special
Lass's Scorched Earth is sometime glitched and wont go off at times.
Lass's Binding Scroll is glitched, if you dont get out fast enough, you will stay in that position until someone grabs u
Fighter's Chi Wave is glitched against cornered monsters. Doing more hits upon them and making them fly upward.

Things that need to be altered in next patch:

Kaze'Aze Healing Orb, when it tells you how to use it, put it on D instead of A key

Adjustments on 11/4/09 Patch

Ryan's BackStep comes to Ntreev! *Note*: This is not part of Ryan's ST, just an addition to Ryan ST, but isnt part of it. (GKey, thanks for clearing that up) 2nd note*: the backstep can be linked to ryans critical attack in both directions(w/ both ST and without ST crit)
WOLF FIRE IS BACK!
Druid's ground dash has been ruined and become a long dash, hovering a bit at the end.
Druid can now use Nephilim
Ryan can now equip Wolf as 2nd Bar and Neph as 3rd Bar (Has Now been Fixed back to normal)
Sentinel can now use Wolf
Ryan's Twin Blades (1st Bar Non-ST skill) can not be chainable with another twin blades Edit* it still can be chained. tested it again.
Ryan's Regular Combo now requires his first hit to start his combo.
Viken's (Ryan's 3rd Job) Launcher Knocks the opponent farther resulting in "No Link Grab"
Wolf's Critical Attack won't hit no matter how much the visuals shows it actually does hits.
Wolf can not dash attack in Mid-Air, therefor he can not air grab.
Wolf's dash is boosted like hell if u spam Z dashing in mid-air... makes a cool shadow visuals
Neph's dash will have delay between each dash, meaning that it wont dash continuously
Neph fall damage has now been fixed (it is about time..)
Arme can not shoot fireballs in Mid-air anymore. (Mage)
Assassin's (Lass's 2nd Job) Deadly Sharp (3rd bar Skill) does not make the two pillar effects
Firestorm (Arme Cash Skill Not ST) when it hits someone, you screen moves to the left
Battle Mage (Arme's 4th Job) 2nd Flame Wave (Z- Left or Right) Does not knock down on first hit, a couple of hits then they get knocked down.
ALL characters can now do Rolling Action (When knockdown, Press Left or Right, and you will roll back up) *Edit* (Has been fixed.)
Arme's Teleport Distance has somewhat Increased.
Spearman (Elesis 2nd Job), All of Arme's Jobs, and Nova gets a boosted dash if you dash attack in mid-air
Spearman's 1st cash skill has lesser flame visual effects on the final hit
SwordMaster Critical Attack does not allow Elesis to IMMEDIATELY jump and do an Air Grab, however you can still link it into a ground grab. Her air dash is also boosted if you mash Z, but if u just press Z once then it will do a dash attack in Mid-air
Primeval Island's Champ Mode does not count toward for the its crest. (fixed)
Basilisk (Boss of Temple of Fire) when he is down, he wont recover back up, he just stays there to die... poor little lizard.. Ntreev gave u a brain tumor... (sometimes it happens)
Those classes that had their dash attacks taken away during mid-air can not air grab anymore
Spell Knight's Blast Bomb (Ronan 1st Job) always goes to the bottom of the stage.
Voice Change for Sieghart's Iron Crusher (1st Skill) and Grind Punisher (3rd Skill)
Exploding Scroll now has been delayed (fixed)
Muse's Amy Kick (3rd Bar Fighting Mode Skill) can now do 2-3 Hits at a certain distance
Siren's (Amy's 3rd Job) Shot (Jump+ Down Z) hits only once instead of twice
Xbow got otto

Other Things to Know:

Kamiki Items from Capsule has now been fixed (usage goes down when used.)
Sieghart's GC Armor & Vanessa Equips can be dropped.
Shisa's Necklace in practice mode has been changed from Lightning Necklace to Fire Necklace
Sylph and Aron Armor is now dropped in Altar of Judgement
Sieghart has his SB Gem's Color... dunno what color? Black...

Also do not tell me false info. (EpicNick) telling me that they fixed about druid's being able to turning into neph, just tested it, and it wasnt fixed at all, he still can use neph (Note this statement was before 11/10/09 Patch, at the time he said it was fixed but it wasnt, but I will still leave this for as an example to not give me false info)

1st - Hehe if you change from Jin to Sieg in couple window they have the exact same body and only the head changes. They are the exact same height and color, while Ryan, Lass and Ronan all have different heights and colors.

2nd - Is Dokaebi nerfed? I just fought a couple people with Doka and they don't do much damage anymore.

Is it me... or is the new dungeon Impossible for Melee Fighters?

My Girlfriend and I went through there yesterday for the first time on lvl one

Me: Elesis lvl 51
Her: Lire lvl 51

First off... Those Monsters are relentless! D: They Alternate their attacks so when they knock you down, the second you get up you get knocked down again! DX And because they hold you down, YOU FREEZE TO DEATH! DX And the freezing attacks are just plain awful too!

Next is... The Jumping room, now i know this doesnt have anything to do with melee fighters but i still think it should be mentioned. We entered the Bottom Exit to head for the boss, but then suddenly found ourselves in the room above the jumping room!? Wait....WHA!? UP IS DOWN, DOWN IS UP!?!? RIGHT IS LEFT, LEFT IS RIGHT!?!? ARRRRGH!!!!! *Brain explodes* Everything I know is a Lie!!! DX

The Mini Boss before the Boss he was cool and i actually enjoyed fighting him.

Then Finally it came to the Boss -.-;

first thing i noticed was... She was very big ._.; and she had two little pets with her, Rabid Tigers of Doom and Death! Dx
The Battle Started and suddenly i noticed a glowing weight scale appear on my screen. and the Treaded words.. Death Sentance appear under it.... at that moment im like... "Oh...Sna~~" *weight falls to one side* BLARRRRGH~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *dead* O___O;;
(At this time i had to use a Bonus Life... ) I come back, ONLY TO BE CLAWED BY TIGERS AND KILLED INSTANTLY AGAIN! (another Bonus Life....) I charge the Boss and start attack her....only to be..LAZZZZZEEEEEERRR!!!!!!!!!! AUUUUGGGGH!!!!!! *dead* (final Bonus Life........) All this time, my girlfriend still has all bonus lives left.. shes doing awesome.. and here i am sucking up a storm...
I come back and suddenly i realize... Im trapped ._. in a sea of deadly cyclones and fangs of tigers... >_< next thing i know...

I mean, ROnan got his before his 4th job, Arme got hers, If I remember correctly, EVERY character got an Exp boost before the release of their 4th and during the release.

SO, whats different about Amy?

all i can say is she is awsome for combo artist, and super deadly on gorge. you can say she is a bit superior then lucretia... i love my little lucretia but Nerisa does great Dmg in pvp and dungeon.

Answer: This thread does a couple of things:

People can post the levels for their Amy's, and receive challenges from any Amy user on the forums. NOTE: Accepting the challenge is not required, and should follow this format:

Amy level = 40, requesting

Accepted.

Adding the person(s) you challenged/ were challenged by is a good way to keep track. Challenging as a team is also possible, as long as you type both players levels and in-game names. Challenges lshould last for 5 matches only for the sake of not taking the appearance of swapping.

Chat about Starlet's pre-release (hopes, etc), discuss techniques and combos.

Please, don't say things like "I hate Starlet, she sucks, she's worthless, all Amy's are narbs," etc. If you do want to debate something, please, keep the words clean, the thoughts clear, and be polite (I know politics isn't polite, this is just so feelings don't get hurt). Basically, no trolling.

A place for the Superstar's, the Diva's, and the Sistina's of our Grand Chase family (KGC, etc) to share their experiences for our Starlet.

Organize people for dungeon runs.

Share good quality videos dedicated to Starlet, as well as posting your own video creations for NAGC's release of the Starlet.

Answer: I'm hoping to contact the winners and runner-up's for the Starlet Tournament, Release of Amy-Zilla~!, and create a general guide for PvP, as well as some crazed Amy fan's insight to dungeon (and possibly mentions for PvP) techniques. Guidance is the way to the future!! There is a chance of other opportunities to continue this thread at least two weeks after Starlet's release in the off-topic forum that would require assistance from the forum moderators.

Thank you Vynstien for pointing out your thread (sorry I made you a sad panda, but let's turn that frown UPSIDE-DOWN). Vynstein did make his topic on Starlet before, and this is being hosted by himself. My version is a bit more open; players can find their teams and self-host their games. In other words, players can still collaborate with each other to complete Starlet's mission while Vynstein is not on Grand Chase. I still like your idea, and I SINCERELY hope we can have some collaboration in making Starlet's release the pink-iest, fluffiest, one around!

Not really but its such a pain to play as arme there if you solo because of the standing on the ground penalty. They need to add like a bar or something to show how long you can stand on the ground for before you start taking damage lol. One more question whats up with the jumping room? Why is the bottom portal take you up and the top portal take you down? Isint that like the opposite or something? lol

Are the seal breakers dungeon specified?

Could this possibly mean Sieghart's 4th Job is Sword Master? O_O
