The thread will be under construction.  I'm making a little project of collected common technical issues and the solutions I have seen through the forums.  There will be numerous blank posts for now, for I will make direct links and multiple sections, so please don't report.  If you don't understand, then be patient until I'm done.  This may take me a few days until I get things straightened out.  If you have any technical issues that was listed here, send me a PM and I'll reply when I'm free.


Introduction
I am CujoEX, a normal gamer like the rest of you.  I am not employed by Grand Chase or Ntreev by any way.  I made this thread as a contribution to Grand Chase, KoG, and Ntreev as a thanks for the free MMO game.  The solutions have been gathered through tests that I've seen.  I do not work with any tech company, so the answers may not be professional, though the solutions seem to solve most of the player's problems.

System Spec Requirements
Before we start with the Technical Issues, be sure that your computer meets the requirements.

Through experience, I suggestyou meet with the recommended requirements.  Minimal requirements tend to cause problems with the game.

Problem
Error 72 - Fail to Initialize Gamemon


Solution
Grand Chase uses nProtect GameGuard as the game's anti hacking system, so it's required to have nProtect GameGuard running during game play.

I suggest turning off your Firewall and Anti-Virus Protector (AVP) so there won't be any installation or download interference.  Go to your Ntreev\Grand Chase\GameGuard directory and locate the file called GameMon.des.  Rename or move the file outside the directory.  Launch the game.

During the launcher's routine file check, it'll notice that the GameMon file is missing.  The auto-patch should replace a new and updated GameMon.des file.  Also, while the Firewall and AVP is off, the file for Gamemon shouldn't be interfered.

Graphics Card Drivers
Most of the Grand Chase visual technical difficulties are caused by outdated graphics card drivers.  Be sure that you meet the minimal requirement first.  If you have any problems regarding the graphic driver, please check the list available below and download the driver that matches yours.  If the problem persists, please send them a 1:1 Support.

If you have Windows XP, be sure you have Service Pack 2 (NOT 3) installed and up to date.  If you have Windows Vista, be sure you have Service Pack 1 installed.

Then double check to see if your DirectX is up to date.  If you're using Windows XP, be sure that you have DirectX9.0C (March 2008 or later) installed.  If you're using Windows Vista, be sure you're using DirectX9.0C or DirectX10.

If they're all up to date, restart the game.  If the problem persists, redownload the installation file (don't use the same installation file).  Turn off your Firewalls and Anti-Virus Protectors (AVP).  Then reinstall the game.  After the installation, launch the game to see if it works.

Access Restricted: Region Blocked

Solution
Ntreev USA's Grand Chase is not available to all countries.  Certain countries already have Grand Chase servers.  If you live within Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brazil, or (most of) Southeast Asia, then you're IP Banned from the USA server.  Please register in your region's server if you would like to play Grand Chase.

ok now that i have XP(not vista anymore) im able to run the game, BUT! how could irun it in vista? i noticed when i launched the game before it wasnt playing music then at the KOG screen it would freeze, so try to find a solution cause i got a cracked version of XP just to play this game

Hey How come when i go on GrandChase patch and it loads up to 100% and i press Game start It Says Error 73

The Game Client or Game Guard is already running please close and restart the program
