Hi, this kind of story is dedicated to my friend who has transferred to another state, She's kind, smart and a little laid-back and is a very good friend, i've yet to make a title
Prologue;
In the land of Ellia, no human settlements were made as most of the continent was occupied by the anmon army. However the army was in conflict with itself, as dark powers began to taint a portion of the anmon army and the Mongban clan. The conflict rages on and soon a castle was constructed at the northern regions of Ellia. At the north-east, a terrible monster has awoken and began its long task... to release the dark creatures of hell. The anmon army that was not tainted slowly depleted in population, some have fled to the Bermesiah continent to rebuild the army, others took refuge in the legendary temple of Fire, one of the few areas clean of the dark powers.
Three young teens sat around a crackling campfire, all three stared at the fire, each in their own pool of thought. The first one had spike orange hair, his steel axe laid by his side and he wore a simple green shirt and shorts complete with cloak and headgear. The second had snow white hair, his cerulean eyes flashed every now and then, he wore a blue and black outfit with dual daggers strapped on his waist. The last one had dark blue hair, tied into a low ponytail, he wore a simple blue, purple outfit with a sword in its scabbard beside him. The three were known as Ryan, Las and Ronan respectively. They were brothers in arms, best of friends and family. The three sat in silence neither has spoken in hours, until.
"So..." Ryan began as he snapped out of his thoughts to look at his comrades. Ronan looked back up at him while Las continued to stare at the fire.
"When are we gonna find them?"
Ronan looked away for a few seconds, he opened his mouth but words failed to come out, Las on the other didn't react but Ryan could see that his eyes had dulled. Immediately, Ryan felt guilty, the three took quite an impact from the last few events, both physically and emotionally. They knew that Bermesiah was now a slave continent, Ellia is completely run over by tainted creatures save for the Fire Temple and worst of all... The Grand Chase no longer existed, the legendary Knight Master disappeared but she gave one last orders to the three men; Search for the traitors, and destroy them.
Chapter1: Port of the Flying Caravels
A blanket of clouds hung from the sky, occasional clappings of thunder rumbled the Ellia landscape. Ryan, Lass and Ronan trudged their way through the grassy fields, occasional squads of tainted Anmon soldiers would be met. The rain started pouring, water trickled under their clothes, it felt like bugs crawling under their shirts, freezing winds beated their faces but the three continued moving but their cloaks was wrapped around their bodies in attempt to create warmth. The three did not make an attempt to speak unless in a battle, all they hear was the constant rain.
*TINK TINK*
The three former Chasers raised their heads towards the sound, six figures approached them, each clad in black and purple, hard shell and wielded large warhammers. A squad of Dark Anmon Guards raised their hammers and made clicking sounds, the three former chasers drew their weapons and held their stance, the two parties charged with weapons raised. Lass struck first, his quick slashes and stabs took out the first guard, Ronan came up next striking the second guard with Ragnabolt followed by a quick slash combo. Ryan took down the third with a quick downward slash with his axe cracking the guard's head shell. The guard numbers were cut in half but they still fought on, the fourth guard retaliated and swung the hammer but missed Lass who pulled back while throwing kunai but it did not enough to pull down the Anmon, Lass darted forward and thrusted his dagger at the recovering anmon which killed it. Ryan took down the next one by chopping it in half with his sturdy axe, giving an instant kill, Ronan finally killed the last one with a series of slashes. The six anmon corpses now lay at the three comrades' feet, no longer alive as their blood trickled from their shell and disappeared into the grass.
"It's still raining..." Lass muttered, he looked up into the sky to see the gray clouds pouring out water, Ronan sheathed his sword and clapped his hand on Lass's shoulder before continuing the journey with Ryan following him. Lass shook his head before running after his friends, determined to find 'them'.

Hours passed by and it was still raining, the rain is a lot heavier, the droplets felt like bullets as it pelted on the travelling trios' head. This time, their feet pressed on the western Ellia mountains. Their eyes were fixed to the ground, in hours time they would reach the port for flying caravels, it was abandoned by humans as it was constantly overrun by anmon soldiers, however, it was still used, flying caravels would port there for various things such as restocking supplies and repairs. It was also rumored that abandoned caravels were docked there but was cursed because their crew 'fled' from it.
Ryan, Lass and Ronan finally arrived at the port, the view was incredible, though it was still raining. However, wooden huts and a warehouse is what made the port, a few caravels were docked there, some of them had their hull rotting. The trio nodded to each other and immediately searched for a ship to use, the three split up.
Ryan opened the door, what he saw was a few shelves stocked with cans, ropes and a few other items, the elf opened his pack and stuffed the ropes and other necessaties, as he continued his task, he suddenly felt uneasy. It was as if... he whipped around, he saw a figure that is completely shadowed, the only feature he could make out is the golden eye that was glaring at him. Ryan stood up, although he felt like he was going to die, he will never die without a fight. He raised his axe, and attempted to call for his comrades but it felt like his throat doesn't want to. The figure continued gazing for what felt like hours before it disappeared in thin air, Ryan just stood there, frozen in fear.
Lass scanned the shabby dark room with his sharp eyes, there was nothing of use in there, he continued to search in case of any unlikely useful items. Lass came to a stop at an old-fashioned wooden cupboard, his hands curled up on the handles but suddenly, he froze as his mind screamed at him not to open the doors. Lass frowned but kept his hands on the handles, he yanked it open and what he saw made him jump, a shadowed figure with lavender eyes pierced through him, on instinct his hands glided over the hilts of his daggers, but once he did that, the figure disappeared, no longer existing. Lass sighed in relief but his left hand kept stayed put on his dagger's hilt, in case...
Ronan looked around the spacious inner side of their, it was completely empty except for two bright red orbs that seems to be gazing at him, the spellknight could make out the outline of the figure but could not identify it. Ronan remained cautious as his hands flew over to his sword, whatever that figure wants is something Ronan didn't know. The former Kanavan soldier approached slowly, his heart beated faster and his hands grew sweaty, he could feel the strong killing intent from the figure. The spellknight closed his eyes and exhaled to calm himself down, as he opened them, what he did not expect, there was no sign of the red-eyed figure. Ronan whipped his head around, but all he could see is darkness and the door to the outside. Sheathing his sword, he left the warehouse to meet his group.
The trio now stood at the deck of the chosen caravel, the engines ran smoothly amazingly and the sails were slightly torn but Lass made a quick work of it. As the caravel rose towards the clouds, all three sighed in relief, glad that they left the port. The Caravel broke through the blanket of clouds, to see a sight barely anyone could see, the sea of clouds. (I know this is against science, but bear with me on this one)

Chapter 2: The City of Silent Screams
Lass took a sip from his mug full of apple cider, what he and his comrades saw was something that is beautiful beyond words. The sea of clouds, the starry night, and the yellow full moon. Lass ran his hand through his snow-white hair, his mind was refreshed by the clean air and all the weariness disappeared from his mind. He tore his gaze from the view to the deck, Ryan was piloting the caravel and Ronan was reading a small handbook. Ryan had a trance-like state on his face, clearly mesmerised by the sky, it was something that destroys their worries. The three went on with their business, all three had always been prepared for the upcoming events. Lass sat on one of the benches, it's been days since he had a decent sleep, he layed down with his hands under his head, his eyes slowly closed, and the thief fell into sleep.
(Several hours later)
"Have you heard? Amy is here for the concert"
"Oh my god! Really?"
"Yeah! I'm such a big fan of her, I wonder if I can get her autograph"
Lass, Ryan and Ronan now strolled through a city on an island of Xenia, the city was known as Segung. The three were now in enlightened moods, the last few hours had helped them relax. The city was no different than Serdin or Kanavan, it had markets, posters of singers and dancers, armories, surly looking guards, banks and many other features. The three decided to goto a bar, might as well start fresh to eliminate the traitors. As the three entered a bar, the three observed that it was only a simple bar,a few customers, a bartender and a rack full of beverages.
"Waddya like?" The bartender asked, the trio ordered their beverages and the bartender nodded and went to work. As he handed the trio each a mug of apple cider, he scanned at them before beckoning them to come closer.
"Newcomers eh? Well, as anyone comes here, a word of warning, you must leave this place before dusk, ya don't, you'll regret it" the bartender said cryptically before scurrying of to wipe some tables. The trio looked at each other, clearly confused, they simply sat there for hours. Ronan regained his composure and shook his friends.
"C'mon, let's go find an inn for tonight, There are sightings of 'The Golden Eye' north from here, it might be her" Ronan said.
A small girl ran through the dark alley, someone... or something was chasing her. Tears streamed from her eyes as she desperately tried to outrun her purseurs, she continued running blindly... she stopped, in front of her, a wall, a solid brick wall, no door, no window, just a wall. She looked back, terror in her eyes intensified as shadowed figures creep up on her, she screwed her eyes shut, hoping... this was all a dream.
The trios' heads perked up, they still have been searching the whole city for an inn, it went all the way into the night, what's more a scream, but no heads peeked out of windows, or light flashed up from windows, no people crashed out of the doors. Something in this city is not right... the three drew their weapons, looks like it is another restless night.
Chapter 3: Elesis... the Imperial Knight
The Trio gagged in disgust and horror, what they saw, was inhuman. A girl was nailed to a wall, her lifeless eyes were fixed on the bloody floor, her own reflection was upon the pool of blood, her mouth leaked out blood and her eyes were flooded with tears. Ronan approached her carefully, being the first to recover... his hand brushed her hair away, and finally covered her eyes, as he removed his hand, and the girl's eyes were now closed. Ronan turned to his friends, his eyes serious.
"We must leave the city, do not let anyone see us"
The Trio now slipped through the shadows in stealth, their eyes are now adjusted to the dark, their weapons were drawn, each shining in the moonlight. The city streets were completely deserted, not a single soul except the trio linger there. However, it does not take an idiot to realise that something was lurking in the streets, the tension was high, the three comrades kept their eyes open.
Whispers in the dark were now present; this caused the three to stiffen up in alert, but no one came to greet them. The three were almost at North Gate, but their instincts told them to wait… Deep in the darkness, something awaits, its bloodlust was evident, the three friends felt it, they scuttled towards the gate… freedom is near.
Red eyes were fixed at the trio’s back, the owner of the eyes grinned, her hand brushed her sabre, her red hair swayed in the cool night’s breeze, her young tender skin was as pale as ever. Behind her, were a group of men, their eyes were milky white, their mouths gaping, and they stood stone still, not a single one itched, not a single one twitched, all they did… was to stand still.
“Stay at the city, I will drag them back” the woman said as her lips curled into a grin.
Ronan, Lass and Ryan now ran through the grass fields under the night’s sky, the city shrank as they ran further away from it, the three thought they were safe until… Ryan suddenly fell down, not a sound escaped from his lips as a sickening crack emitted from his head indicating that he was knocked out. The assaulting figure’s red eyes flashed maliciously as it dove in for Lass, the thief jumped back as he threw two kunai at the attacker but the figure blocked it with the sabre it wields, Ronan took his turn to attack and lunged at the figure but the red eyed assaulter dodged and moved in for Lass in an astounding speed, the sabre flashed under the moonlight, and now Lass fell, his chest slashed, his face grimaced in pain. Soon Lass’s body went limp as soon as the mysterious figure stomped on Lass’s body twice, Ronan’s eyes widened, such speed to outrun even Lass, he knew that he would not survive, his blue eyes glared at the red eyes, his mouth set on a thin line.
“Who are you?” Ronan asked his tone hard and sharp, however... it did not cover his fear, his sword rose in front of him. The figure cocked its head sideways before it raised its sword at Ronan. The figure didn’t answer for a time which felt like hours.
“… My name is Elesis… The Imperial Knight of Kaze’aze”
