I'm just curious about this... I've heard stories from friends and well, I'd like to know for certain. Is it true that older players are being banned for silly or no reasons?

I purposely flame players but run into few problems.
as far as bannings go i think its all on what happened like the ban for over 100 friends that was not so smart tons of people lost accounts for that crazy stuff so i can say that they ban for silly reasons

A while back a bunch of people were banned after a series of bugs involving the stages giving the error message about detecting hacks and not giving exp/gp/items for that run. I guess they assumed it had to do with skipping the patcher so they could run music. That's the closest thing I've heard to unfair bannings.
Here and there, with any big game, somebody will be banned in error, just gotta go to them and talk about it. I've heard Ntreev is pretty fair with their banning, usually giving only temp bans the first time.

Nah like 3 weeks ago people "said"(they didnt provide nothing , no SS, no proof , nothing) they were getting banned without reasons.
Some of them just said that they could enter account , but not servers, it was just lag @.@

all players who have been banned are is for a reason, breaking rules, simple as.
ive been banned i broke a rule. people will say it was not their fault as they are ashamed of what they have been banned for.

And as loki said in another thread like this along time ago.. but i cant find it so i'll summarize what i remember..
a GM will never disclose any information about a ban to anyone.. so the only real word you have is the player over the GM. Obviously the GM banned the person for breaking a rule or abusing something.. Since most players cannot admit when they've done something wrong.. They will defend themselves by saying they were banned for no reason.
Since a GM cannot speak for privacy reasons. the only real answer you'll get is from the player.. and as we know.. almost every player wouldnt want to admit they did something wrong.
As the more people level in a game.(about 90% of ppl) the more your IQ drops, thus, making them to stupid to admit their mistakes
