My suggestion for colloseum Okay, I want everyone to go to colloseum server. and read the Help section. No, better idea, I'll simply show it you. Unfairness? A level 35 Ronan with a pegasus armor + green slime vs a level 65 elesis with the Emperor Armor set + Saku. Yup, I agree. It's the fairest battle of all fair fights. What I'm suggesting is... Put Colloseum in tiers. Depending on the player's stats. A player should be placed into tiers. If one character has over 1000+ in 2 stats or more, the player's characters should be placed in the S rank. If one or more characters has A- to A+ stats, then the player would be placed in the tier 1. If one or more of the characters have B- to B+ stats, then the player would be placed in tier 2 and so on C- to C+ = Tier 3 D- or lower = Tier 4 Let's take for example my Arme's stats 1200 Attack 800 Defense 600 Vitality. If my Arme entered the room with A+ stats, then I should be placed in Tier 1. And I can only fight other players of the same tier. ---- If I enter the rooms with this C+ stat 300 attack 600 defense 100 vitality then I would be placed into tier 3. --- Don't want to be placed in tiers? Wanna fight A+ players with your C+ stats? Then on the Colloseum server, check the box that says, "Do not place me in a tier." that way, you can fight other players who also have this checked. ---- The purpose of this suggestion is to create a balance between players, so everyone has an equal chance of participating. GPers, cashers, and Gacha freaks alike! So, what do you guys think? Do you support or not?

Depending on the player's stats. A player should be placed into tiers. If one character has over 1000+ in 2 stats or more, the player's characters should be placed in the S rank. If one character has over 1000+ in 2 stats or more, the player's characters should be placed in the S rank.
If one or more characters has A- to A+ stats, then the player would be placed in the tier 1.
If one or more of the characters have B- to B+ stats, then the player would be placed in tier 2
and so on
C- to C+ = Tier 3
D- or lower = Tier 4
Let's take for example my Arme's stats
1200 Attack
800 Defense
600 Vitality.
If my Arme entered the room with A+ stats, then I should be placed in Tier 1. And I can only fight other players of the same tier.
----
If I enter the rooms with this C+ stat
300 attack
600 defense
100 vitality
then I would be placed into tier 3.

.. That's.. Actually a pretty good suggestion o.O
The only thing I don't like about it is the checkbox. I don't think it should be there at all. But that's just me.
Anyway, it makes sense - we have stat ranks, why not use them? Though I disagree with the "S Rank" thing, I think all A+ should just be grouped together. If you don't want to fight A+, just figure out your A stats before hand.
A possible way to exploit this system would be high level "pros" intentionally dropping down to D- stats to pick on the newbies, but that's going to happen regardless of what system is implemented, so there's no sense in complaining about it.
Even though ideally I'd like to see full stat normalization, I definitely support this.

Abuse = Bad... but all systems have been abused... /Support...
Hm....could it be by RP/level group instead? I mean, it would be pretty easy to be a "pro" and just lower the stats as much as you can, and then go pwn in the lower stat groups.
Anyways, I like this ^_^

Actually, it would be even nicer if it could be sorted by RP, level group, and/or stats.
That's only my opinion though...
Grand Chase is like a light show. I look at all the pretty lights until they finish, and then I realize that all of those lights were attacking me.

Ah that's pretty true too..
Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 PS3 Nuff' said.
Sorting it by RP would take out a large point of the mode itself - it's designed so that fighting someone with higher RP than you will yield better results, as well as losing to someone with lower RP than you will be more damaging. Sorting by RP would effectively lock ranks in place, or at least make it very difficult to move up and down.
Level... I've seen a level 20-ish in A+ stats. Really can't agree with that.
Seems more likely then equal stats and cashers still have kinda a upper hand so...
/Support.
Eh....
Semi-support
Something sounds wrong, and undoable but...I'm just not sure what...
Its Completley Unfair. All Someone Needs Is A Lvl 60+ Kaiser/Emperor Armor And BOOM They Win. Make The Stats Even. Simple As That =.=

You make a good point. But Loki has stated that it's not possible to limit players to their certain stat. So instead, I suggested that we put players into categories based on tiers.

Oh, it's entirely possible, it just won't happen
Though I will admit the single only benefit of the current system we have now is that it's an environment we can play at full stats without wasting time looking for a game.
My only problem is that often means fighting C+ vs. A+++++++.
Thus why I like this suggestion.
That's still a problem in itself though as your weapon which helps up your attack points does not effect your armor grade. Meaning, if a level 65 wanted to, they could wear totally crappy armor but maintain their weapon. Because of this Tier idea you suggested, they could slip through any Tier but maintain their attack power. Which means although they may be fairly weak in defense, they could demolish the low level's anyway.
Not that this isn't a good idea though, because it really really is. It'll help balance things out for collosseum goers at low levels. But that weapon factor is the only thing that deters me from the idea.
As for the check box. It should just be a small box that says "Tier". If you check it you'll be auto-placed in Tier's when you go for a battle. When it's not checked it'll be a un-tiered search.

Look closely, I'm B+.
Your argument is invalid.

Wow, Zhon. He got outfoxed like totally.

That is exactly what I'm fearing with this. And we all know people who would definitely do something like this to get a higher ranking, especially since I've been told the Champion armors are going to be placed into this mode.
The Tiers are great. But it needs to have Level figured in there somewhere. Something like, you add all the stats you currently have into this number. Then multiply your level by 10 and add it to this number. And this number would determine how it's split into tiers. That way, even if you don't wear anything, a level 65 is still going to have 650 additional points to their stats, which is going to place them into, at the lowest, a Tier 3 or something. But then if they tried going to like, B stats, then the number would place them in the A/1st Tier, and it's not exactly fair in that regard.
Any complex mathematician out there who can come up with a formula to fairly incorporate level and stats into the equation? D: Something involving inverse proportions.
I definitely agree this is a good idea, somehow altering the Colosseum stats in battles. I think some minor tweaks would fix any problems.
Off-Topic: That's the second picture you have of your displaying of your stats with Vortex as your partner. Heh. Does Zhon always do this? :p
