Well, some basic notes, I run on Vista 32-bit. No, I don't hack. And yes, I've tried countless of things to solve it. But I'll touch on that later. Basically, I run my game as per normal, through patcher, no issues, GameGuard connects successfully without issues. It hits the loading screen at the start, the bar slowly fills to full and bam, I get this.
Clicking okay will result in,
Before you start going, "oh hey u go read more nub theres alot of solutions arounds but ur just too stupid to follow", allow me to list down what I've tried so far.
To cut it all short, I've spent about, say, over 8 hours trying to fix this issue. If there's a need to, I'll just leave the processes list I've copied off my Task Manager here. (Sorry for the long list, I never knew I had that much system processes running before I took a picture of it)
Some extra background information : This error has been consistently affecting me since about last Monday. On that day, my game was running fine during the first half of the day but after running it again sometime at night, my GameGuard had patched itself to death. Before that, I've have had absolutely no problems running Grand Chase. Strangely, I've had this problem for other games in the past but it never occurred for Grand Chase until recently.
P.S. I've searched with Google on solutions to this problems and I've tried pretty much all of those I've come across. So don't say I didn't do my Homework(Research).
Doesnt bit defender have a gaming mode?
If not then there must be a way to temporarily totally disable all protection while running gc.
And what you mean you dont use a firewall ._.;;
If you mean your not using any 3rd party firewalls then you probably have windows firewall enabled which is good. Now go to that and after trying switching to game made and temporarily totally disabling all protection go to the firewall and on the second tab add grand chase on the trusted list (forget what its called).
Ps. Have you tried running it in compatible mode and running as admin ._.?
I don't use a firewall at all. Period. I don't exactly see a need for it because either way, I usually end up deleting pretty much any malicious programs, with or without my anti-virus. It's a bit of an experience thing you'll learn if you've been dealing with spybots without any protection.
Tried compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 2. Tried running as admin although it doesn't make a difference since my user account is already the administrative account.
Tried Gaming Mode too. If completely switching off all functions of BitDefender didn't work, this is sure to fail too, but I didn't want to take any chances so I just tried it anyways.
Try downloading and installing game booster from iobit, once your run it, it will disable unnneeded processes and then you can experiment with killing off the rest of running processes and trying again.
Tried it too. Didn't work. In fact, just for the fun of it, I tested it with RE5. It didn't make a difference the game's performance. I still lagged quite horribly at certain points.
I noticed you haven't tried disabling your anti virus. Or maybe I missed it somewhere.
You have nProtect.
nProtect sometimes decides that Grand Chase is bad, and somehow, will turn it into the problem you are facing.
From what I see, you are a cautious person, but, do try it.
Edit: No, never mind, I got it confused again.
Try completely disabling your antivirus anyway. Just disabling the real time protection isn't enough.
I had to completely disable my Norton before I could play.

If you mean completely disabling it, you mean turn off every function of it, then yes, I've tried that.
But if you mean, closing it entirely, it's a little impossible because BitDefender has 3 system processes that can't be closed. They're listed under the System usergroup and can't be stopped from lauching with msconfig.
Sorry, I can't help you anymore.
Everything you did was bascially everything in my knownledge.
Send in a 1:1 to get a GM to help you.
This happens to me occasionally as well, all I do is close my laptop down. Then re-open it and run GC again, and if it still doesn't work. I just restart the computer. Not sure if it will do the same for yours. I run Vista as well.
It's okay. At least you tried I was never expecting a working solution anyways. Still, I appreciate your efforts. ^-^
I'm just going to see how it goes by the end of the week before I really decide whether should I send a 1:1 letter.
