personally i get the blue screen right after gameguard and before the splash screen, the only detail I've seen so far is the line like if the screen tryed to change resolution or something like that but i've tried every resolution i have and it's still not working, so if you get something similar or if your GC is working on windows 7 write your specs and it might help the users or even ntreev to figure out what's the problem.
my theory is that if GC would start in windowed mode after installation it might work.
if yoh find how to make work , for shure .
post it ! T-T

i found a fix for me but apparently it's not working for everyone so
you can go on this website and try if the fix works for you follow the instruction really carefully
Well if it works for some, I envy you. But will it work for Vista? If not, I still need help.
I also seen that it has something to do with GameGuard
Most BSODs for any game can be resolved by updating or reinstalling your Service Pack. Windows XP should have Service Pack 2; Vista should have Service Pack 1 (and in some cases, Service Pack 2 if your computer can handle the specs); and Windows 7 is still in it's beta stages. After updating your Service Packs, update your DirectX. Windows XP should have DirectX9.0C; Vista and 7 should have anything higher than that.

Possibly a better way to figure out whats wrong is to know the specs of a working computer, and one that is not working. No matter what i do, i keep getting the same error.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit system. It is an Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2 GHz.
My Graphic Card is Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family, and I have DirectX 11
blazer what is the problem you are facing? you could try the solution i posted above to determine if the problem is caused by gameguard, if it doesn't work try reinstalling GC and try running as admin(if your not already doing that) also if none of these work i would suggest you try what cujoex said but i doubt that you got problem if you are using directx 10. my theory is that it's because your system is a 32bit and gameguard got hard time with it
Well, the problem is the BSOD. No matter what I do, i just still get the error. I ran as admin, I uninstalled and reinstalled, I copied from someone else's computer whose GC works on it. But nothing. Unfortunately, the computer will not let me uninstall SP2.
One main reason for this has something to do with dump_wmimmc.sys. I'm starting to hear rumors that it is a cloaked malware. Don't know if it is true or not.

Well, we are in the same situation. So, we can't help you. Unless they can fix the problem in the next maintenence, this might take a while.
sorry even though i'm not from tech support i don't think anyone can help you if you are generalizing your problem here's a list of possible problem:
-bsod after gameguard
-gameguard error updating/starting
-can't connect to server
and now give some specs like what OS are you running
and blazer can you put some print screen of your task manager, how much ram you are using etc.
This solution you posted worked perfectly for me. My Laptop is a
Dell Studio 1535, 2 GB RAm, with processor Inter Core 2 Duo T5750
The OS i'm using is Windows Seven Professional 32-bit
I had the GameGuard problem (the one of the BSOD) and solved it just like ciberxxl said.
Thanks very much for the solution

glad i could help, even though it's not solve for every one if a couple more people can play a good game i'm proud of helping... still gotta find a way to make trickster work now >.>
I'm gonna wait after the next maintenence. If it still does not work, I might just quit GC until I decide to get another computer.
having some player quiting is sad but ntreev should feel responsible because of their laziness and greediness and because their tech support isn't helping at all by saying that OS that aren't at least 5 years old isn't supported
