Chase the Ace just finished, and it was a great success. We were very happy that 276 unique competitors were able to enter--a record for us!--and 1073 qualifier matches were played (not counting matches that weren't recorded due to technical glitches!). However, conspicuously absent from the top of the roster was Jin! So to raise awareness of the Fighter (and Shisa too), we're hosting a Jin-only tournament!
Key Details Who: 144 participants who enter qualifier matches. Anyone with Jin unlocked may participate in the qualifiers, but each player may enter ONLY ONE qualifier room. ENTERING MULTIPLE QUALIFIER ROOMS IS GROUNDS FOR ACCOUNT ACTION. What: Single-elimination unseeded survival tournament, entered by winning qualifier matches. When: Thursday, October 1st from 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM PDT. Where: Gardosen Server, Free Class PvP, in rooms specifically created and supervised by the GM staff. Why: To give Jin the recognition he deserves as a fighter and engage in combat on difficult terrain. Qualifying for entry into the Playoffs will be accomplished by placing in the top 3 players of a qualifier room. Similar to the Hells Bells tournament, rather than hold registration for entry we are going to allow anyone interested to enter a qualifier room and compete.
PLAYERS MAY ONLY PLAY IN ONE QUALIFYING ROOM. ANY PLAYER FOUND TO HAVE PLAYED IN MORE THAN ONE QUALIFYING GAME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THIS AND ALL FUTURE TOURNAMENTS!
Playoffs:
Rooms in the playoffs will be created and identified by the GMs, with competitors being invited directly by the GMs. Competitors who have qualified will be told where to wait for an invite, so for this reason, it is MANDATORY that all competitors are able to accept room invites by ensuring that their "Auto Invite Block" option is UNCHECKED.
In the Final round, the top two players from each side of the bracket will be paired together as a team to fight in a 2v2 against the other side for the championship.

Notes: Since the Finals are a 2v2 competition, both players on the winning team will receive the 1st place prize and both players on the losing team will receive the 2nd place prize.
