What to expect:- A friendly community.- A serious environment.- Comments and criticism on your work, IF you want them*.- Frequent events and contests.* If you can't take criticism, please don't request it. Criticism can be harsh at times, but improvement will never come without noticing your mistakes.There are no strict rules for this guild, other than maintaining a decent attitude. No disrespect will be tolerated.As this is a purely art focused guild, it shouldn't have any impact on other guilds. That being said, double guilding is fully allowed; however you may want to check with your other guild leader before making that decision.
Members
How do I join? As this is an artist guild, there is one simple requirement to join: create an entirely new piece of art and send me (Zhon) a Conversation / PM with it attached. Member profiles will be created later comparing "best work" to your original submission; they will also be used in certain events. Take your time with your first piece, and make sure it's something you don't mind sharing, as it WILL be on display. Note that you will not be denied simply due to lack of skill, as this guild is dedicated to helping artists grow. However there is a bottom level of quality (example: no stick figure submissions please), so put forth some effort!
Additionally, you may submit the following information in the same PM. This information will be placed in your member profile; it's entirely optional.

Help design the thread!
It's my goal to have an image created by one of our members to accompany each paragraph. You can see I've already started with my own images, but we need more! Feel free to suggest your own images, but please only if it's your own work. Additionally, the banner could use a little more flare, so if you feel like redesigning it you're welcome to try (but don't be offended if I don't end up using it). The images do not have to be related to Grand Chase, though keeping in theme would be nice.

What are Judges? - Judges are a small group of members hand-selected not necessarily for their ability, but for their artistic perception. Judges will have the duty of overseeing certain guild activities and events as well as setting an example for the rest of the community.
Bulletin
9/26/09: Reflective Generation established! Welcome all :) I hope this guild will grow quickly, as I have a lot of fun things planned for it! As for now, however, things are just getting started. The thread's going to be undergoing lots of reorganization of course, so don't get too comfortable with things. If you want to help make the thread pretty, please check the event section! Otherwise, if you know of any artists here on Grand Chase, be sure to tell them about this guild.
I would also like to request everyone's opinion on an ongoing "event" similar to GSOS: a theme is posted at the start of the event (for example: Arme grown up, Elesis in battle, etc.) and whoever wishes to compete may draw from that theme and submit their work. The images will be on display for 7~10 days (depending on how quickly people send in submissions); afterward, a poll will be put up in the main post, and whichever image gets the most votes will choose the next theme. Aside from that, I'm going to wait until we get a decent member base (6~10 members) to start the first "big" event.
Finally, feel free to post any of your art (fan art or not) in this thread (as long as it's appropriate for the forums of course); be sure to clarify if you want criticism on whatever you post (Criticism: [Yes]/No). Once a decent collection piles up, I'm going to make a big "gallery" thread for us in Fan Media, which I'll update regularly.

Themecraft
Themecraft is an ongoing traditional & computer generated drawing competition hosted by Reflective Generation, open to all users. This is not a mandatory event for members, but as I said, participation is the key to success!
Information
At the start of each round, the previous winner will choose a small number of themes (between 1 and 5); all must be Grand Chase related. Themes MAY repeat between rounds, as long as there is at least one different option.
Everyone in the guild will have one to two weeks to submit their entries, varying depending on how fast submissions come in. If we reach a decent amount of entries and no one has stated their interest in participating, the voting will begin early; no sense in waiting. You may submit your entries via the Reflective Generation guild thread or by PMing them to me. Also, don't hesitate to ask for help / criticism to improve your work before submitting it! The more effort you put in, the higher your chances of winning.
You are encouraged to sign your work, but if you wish to remain anonymous with your entry, please be sure to make a special note of it to me. Additionally, if you do not wish to receive criticism on your work, make sure you state it. Finally, keep in mind that all entries must be appropriate for this forum.
Voting
At the end of the submission period, I will post all of the entries in the Fan Media forum and request all users to vote in a GSOS style (by posting their top favorites). Voting rules may vary; they will be noted in each thread in more detail.
Round 2 - (10/22/09)
Deadline for submission: Monday, November 2nd, or 10 entries.
Themes:
Halloween - draw a Grand Chase character in a Halloween costume; Pet Chase - draw a concept for one of the pets as if they were a main character (possibly in one of the generic sets, i.e. Saint's Black, perhaps with a short bio); School Uniform - draw a character from Grand Chase in a school uniform.
Remember, you may choose to mix any of the themes or simply pick one theme. Get creative!

Either way I won't say which way I feel about this guild for two reasons
1. I don't appreciate getting bad mouthed or bashed on for something I'm not even paid to do and I give up my free time to do so.
2. I can't even consider this a guild since it actually has nothing do to with the game and focuses solely on un-related material.
If anything this should be moved to Fan Media which would the appropriate section for this themed thread.

If I'm going to bad mouth you for anything, it's for assuming I'm bad mouthing you by saying this thread is different from the ones you normally "judge". You solidified my point with your #2 statement, so I don't see what the big deal is.
And, though I don't (didn't) post in the Guild Lounge much, I do lurk quite a bit.
As for moving it to fan media; while I would absolutely love to, I'm sure many people would disagree with me, as this thread is liable to go off topic and may be mistaken as a massive spam thread in Fan Media. Not to mention I plan to cross reference in Fan Media with our gallery soon, so it all works out.
