This will not happen, I can assure you right from the start.

However, I really do think if the game didn't record EVERY PVP win and loss and have this number looming over every player, there would be a lot less hate for the PVP channel.

You lose? Big deal. Play another match. You win? Yay, exp and money.

There are people that take pride in their percentage, and because of this die a little inside every time that loss record goes up by one; thus the constant accusations of "hacker," "spammer," "lagger," and "noob." They try to find some excuse for the fact that they were defeated. Complaints start, people are kicked from rooms, and there's just this aura of hate radiating from just about every room. All kinds of ridiculous rules are set forth so almost ensure they win because they don't want a loss recorded. Nobody can have any fun and just play to play. They must play to win.

PVP rewards for having a good record, you say? Swappers always seem to hold the top spots anyway. All your work is ultimately surpassed by some dual boxer.

To improve PVP, I'd say either remove the win/loss recordings entirely or have it reset regularly instead of looming over every player, making them forever regret the losses they took back before they knew how to play and forcing every loss to have some sort of uncontrollable excuse.

I support idea. In fact, I support this idea so much, that dare I say it; I support it more then I support getting Knight Master as a playeble character.

I agree that removing the record is a good idea. I also agree that it will probably never happen.

Having it reset each month would be a good idea.  Monthly is the highest recorded value for the prizes anyways.  It isn't necessary to have the records from the past several months just stacking up.

What you can do is just keep the total win tally.  Based on one's join date, seeing a high number of wins can still prove prowess and the losses aren't there to bring a player down.

The monthly reset seems like it would be a realistic change, at least.

All for this idea.

My suggestion would be to keep the records but instead have an Overall Win:Lose and a Monthly Win:Lose. That way, you can keep track of how many games you play in a month and how many games you have played overall ;]

How about keeping the record in private? Just like when you log in and check your profile to see your individual records. That can be kept while no one knows of your "status."

Or perhaps an option to "play for fun" in the pvp room which can mask stats and will not deduct a win/loss.

Seems I'm not the only one that sees the record keeping as a source of problematic happenings. I have a fairly decent percentile but I enjoy PvP rarely because theres almost always a comment aimed at my win/loss percent whether its. OMG you haxor to have such a good ratio or oh noes! your percent is going down cause I pwn'd you. Theres so many negative comments associated with it, its just darn right rediculous.

it should record your total wins and loses for the week, and a seperate window for the month. and have each reset accordingly. this way, when some of those kill swappers and dual boxers get bored, we NORMAL pvp'ers still get a chance to be at the top.

Dual boxers will never stop if Ntreev does'nt stop them, a bot can do it mindlessly and effortlessly.

for the ones like me who had a crappy start at pvp it will take a total of 30000 wins (with no losses) to make up for my 300 loses  to get to 99%

There are essentially two kinds of Grand Chase players. People who play to play and people who play for the sense of accomplishment. The former type of player wouldn't mind such a suggestion, while the latter wouldn't dig this with a bulldozer.
