pieman: while i was at work today and thinking about skill trees (life guarding gets boring sometimes lol) i was wondering if the cash skills require you to use up SP or if buying the key and unlocking the skill with it allows you to use it without using up your SP. also, on other versions, how much is the SP reset card? Thanks also for the rest of the guide, it was very helpful =)

the SP reset card allows you to reset only 1 skill you learned, if that skill used 3 points or 2 you get back that points

um thanks? how come hateful? you know me? o.o i doubt.
Sorry, i meant how much do the cards cost, i have a tendency to be somewhat vague at times though, especially after work >_<. thanks for the advice though =)
Is there a such thing as passive build? Like get and max all the passive skills so any job you use on your char will be "upgraded"?
Don't click!
Uh Roll can we be buddys? i added you to meh buddy list and you are very helpful and add me on Gc to Azureflame1

Awesome, thanks for the reply.
And are skill points shared between chars? Or do you get specific skill points for each character you play as?
No worries. Maybe you were just having a really, really, really bad day. Or lady problems.
Helpful people are usually nice in game.. Coulda been someone else named RollChan.

You could tell him the cost of the item in KGC. Aperently 1000 cash in KGC is about equall to 1000 cash in NAGC, but we charge alot more for stuff....
@pluberus: No, each char has theyre own unique skill tree, all 5jobs will have skill tree, the only thing you can share with the same char/diferente job , is the support skill thats all
@Wolf: I doubt, some stuff on Korean has way more cash points than us, if i remember right, the havoc set for em lvl 65 worth more than our saint black. If i remember right ill log in later to confirm the prices.
@Panic: huh? i never saw your name around on GC hehe but yet if i did something wrong my apology forgive me.
So in other words, once Lass' ST comes out, even with nerfs, DA's are gonna be even harder to hit? x.x wonderful.
Give it 2 months and everyone will be built almost exactly the same, since there's always that skill combination that works better -.- so much for diversity.
I think i'm gonna save ST pts till kgc launches 2nd job ST's before throwing all my pts into first jobs. That way I can be safe in case 35 pts are shared between all 4 jobs -still says 5th's aren't confirmed; that 5th tab could be something special between all characters- Xp

And there'll be the one person with a unique build that nobody can beat because they all learned to fight the build that everybody else uses.
As this is a skill based game, if certain tactics are never used, people won't know how to play against them. That makes the stronger, so people switch thinking it's better, and oh look! Tactic number 3 is now useable. The end result is that eventually all the variations will be used because tactic 2 beats tactic 1, but tactic 3 beats tactic 2. Tactic 1 still beats tactic 3, however, so it's still playable.
Wait, doesn't this sound a lot like elesis/lire/arme? My God, it does. People still play all 3, too.
Because this is an action-based game, expect all possible playstyles to be used and mastered by someone. What you said may be true for raw stat based games like world of warcraft, but in a game that requires player skill as it's main input, any build is good in the right hands. There will be good players in each build, and people will want to be like those players, and eventually there will be a diverse group of people trying to be good players of each build.

Ah right, i forgot to mention I'm a dungeon runner; dungeons was what I was refferring to. I neglect to think in terms of Pvp. But since we've started on it, how many successful Archers are there? I went into Pvp for Siren the past week (im slow at winning, get over it) and saw 1. It lost. I met 2 Assassins. They lost. I met a few xbows, and that was about my limit on Lire. I saw more than my share of Jins, DA's, Sirens, Sentinels, a **** ton of Mages and (as far as previous pvp experience) Elesises (equally between the 3 jobs) solely due to the Skill Tree. It sure seems like alot of variety, but when u really look at it, when you play an Arme for example chances are they're going to be a mage. Anything else is going to fail. Yeah, even that Cloud spamming alch. Alas, i need to finish getting ready for work.
