Downloading and Extracting Grand Chase Through Segments

For those who have a hard time downloading the full client, you can download the client in segments at http://grandchase.ntreev.net/Download/gamedownload.aspx. After you receive the 7 files, decompress the files and GrandChase_Install.exe will appear. Once you execute the file you can begin installing.

Requirements

A decompression tool will be needed to extract the files.  Windows XP and Windows Vista provides WinZIP, but for those who are having technical difficulties, WinRAR is also suggested (and personally recommended).  You can download WinRAR at http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=winrar&tag=srch&searchtype=downloads&filterName=platform%3DWindows&filter=platform%3DWindows free.  Though it's just a Trial Version, you will still be able to compress/decompress files even past the expiration date.

Directions

To install Grand Chase, you must first download all seven segments through the Grand Chase download page.  After downloading the full client, right click on GrandChase_Install.zip (the first file, not .z01) and choose "Extract Files To.."  A window will be available for you to choose a directory to extract the installation file.  Either extract the files to the Desktop, or you may create a Grand Chase folder at "C:/Program Files/Ntreev/Grand Chase."  Once the extraction is complete, double click on the installation file to install Grand Chase.

Troubleshoot

• Be sure that you have met with all the game's requirements.  The check list is available at http://forum.ntreev.net/grandchase/forums/t/11033.aspx, along with downloadable drivers.
• If you're still experiencing technical difficulties, please write a 1:1 Support.  Expect a response from an Ntreev Game Master (GM) after 3~7 days via account e-mail and/or 1:1 Support Page.  Be as descriptive as possible and be sure to fill out the forms properly.
