I haven't played in a while...but I think my longest running file is 16 years, I have Queen's Heel(hunting for Lunar Weapon), focus attack speed boost accessory(forgot the name), Heavenly Armor, Poison Sash, Cure, Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder Rings, 80+ attack, 60+ defense, 40+ magic, all pendants(star, moon, earth, and sun), gobbie, chocobo, and moogle pockets.

It's a giant...spider...bug...crab thing.

It's called an antlion, but its sooo not one. It's a spider crab.
The only boss I didn't like of that game was the Ghost Dragon, and that's because the first 2 times I fought him, I didn't know that if you didn't use life on him, you'd only do a max of 5 dmg per hit. Oh yes I beat him like that, twice. It took about an hour each time, but I did it!
Dx ohhh that sucked.

only Antlion's power is hax, its attacks are easy to predict
also it is an antlion, an antlion is a giant ant-mantis monster living underground in deserty or other hot and dry areas

edit:I ran through more the monster encyclopedia that I got these pictures from, and almost all of the monsters featured in Crystal Chronicles look very similar to their FF9 counterparts, including the Antlion, Abbadon, and Bomb. The exception to this rule is the Chimera, which looks NOTHING like its FF9 counterpart, or any FF for that matter

Ah...Crystal Chronicles...Good times...goooooood times...I bought the game the first day it came out =P
I had....EVERYTHING...and yes, i do mean everything...course i had to wait like 6months later to get a GBA and a Link Cable so i could know the reqs to get the highest scores to get the secret artifacts and stuff...I also maxed All my chars, had them with their ultimate weps and accs...Invisibility Ring ftw =P
Well...FFCC Walkthrough Guide ftw? lol...I bought the guide AFTER i passed the game, thats how i learned all bunch of secrets, and got everything
Idk why i did it, but im like a maniac when it comes to games where you have to collect a lot of crap...no wonder i still play GC =P

Well, the bosses there dont take much strategy to beat, just bash and run

Easy fix, play a Yuke o3oYukes are god in all the FFCC games <3
Make sure you use a weapon that shoots, rather then a weapon that uses a focus attack. That way you don't have to get close :3

Edit : Clavats get it through an upgrade or blacksmith weapon, and Selkies starts off with one. *kept her first selkie weapon through the entire game* o.o; Racoon boy Selkie ftw <3 *pets soft blonde hair*
