February 14, 2008. Woo, Valentine's Day event.
What was it like back then?
Patches back then came soooooooo slowly (every other week on average, instead of every week), and Gaikoz's Castle was the last available dungeon forever. (Gorgos's Dungeon was for some time, but I'd been levelling everyone equally, so it was never the last dungeon for me.) To think I got all the way out to level 27 Elesis on just that... ugh. Partusay's Sea was hilariously fun when it was released, though - possibly some of the best fun I've ever had with my friends on GC.There was no dungeon chat or park then, so not much in the way of community except for the people on the boards and anyone you PvP'd.
What characters were available when you started?
Elesis, Lire, and Arme, all first jobs. Ronan came out later and was a big deal, but I got him about an hour after he was patched into the game. That pretty much marked the end of my ability to get stuff as it came out, as I stopped being as serious about the game.
What do you think will happen to the future Grand Chase?
Um... KoG will get its act together and make skill trees for every character and job, and then they'll come here and it'll be awesome. Also they'll keep making fun new dungeons; I'm already looking forward to the 4th Xenia dungeon and 3rd Silver Cross dungeon, and those two continents are far from finished.
In Ntreev-specific predictions, all of the cool pets will still be Gacha and yet that blasted Ice Fairy will still be the best. ;)
When did you start GC?
Mid-October 08. That was close to the end of the first Champion event.
I knew alot less people so I was just joining random rooms... I actually listened to the complaining noobs back then and even thought they were right. Yes I was noobing it out and calling Armes spammers for using too much firebolt, lol. Eh, i've learned alot about GC since then.. Don't think it was much diffrent than now, back then the Ronans were spamming Infinity Sword, now they spam Divine Slash.

I think Ronan will continue to spam Divine Slash 'til the end of time, or the end of GC, whichever comes first. I do hope Ntreev will start going over our suggestions seriously one day, once they catch up with the content.

They will keep sucking the ppl out of cash for gp things and throwing us a bone every now and again like they are doing now.

People will probably stop being annoying because of the releases (Of the jobs, like now) or they get annoyed because of that LOL.

Well, it was nice, PvP was enjoyable, there was one server, and Temple of Fire was the most difficult dungeon.

Well... in December of 2008, Around Christmas time. shortly before Amy came out.
Basically the same, except for Santa flying across the sky to drop usefull items. Uhhhm for the most part people were nice to me. I men My first Friend, ChibiXRiku on the Ronan Mission. we still talk and stuff and even teamed up for the couple's event. When I started, Everyone wanted help with either the Lass mission or the Ronan mission. i remember my first 2nd job mission >.<. Dragon Knight. OMG i thought it was the HARDEST mission EVER. Ronan was my first to 2nd and my first to 20. the DK mission turned me into a hardcore casher.
Well: Elesis(1st, 2nd, 3rd)/Lire(1st, 2nd 3rd)/Arme(1st, 2nd, 3rd)/Lass(1st, 2nd)/Ryan(1st, 2nd)/Ronan(1st, 2nd, 3rd) No Amy.
I'm not so sure about it. I think that as soon as we catch up to KoGC, there will be a rush of people from other versions coming to our servers, BUT i think that as long as the cashers are around and as long as they keep introducing new game content, then we will see consistent growth in GC.

I joined a week or two before Lass came out.
It was a nice community. Lot of beggars, but not so many punks in PvP we have now. 25+ Ellia and 30+ Lower Kastulle were good to see. Also there WERE PEOPLE in Upper Kastulle! People all worked together to achieve the common goal of levelling up.
The future of GC - All the pros will play Elsword to get away from the immature kids that play.

I played, back when not having access to beginner or middle class, was the cool thing :D
and tag mode was actually used... ;o;
Immature kids will stalk them to Elsword, and beg more cause of the market system.
People will either get bored of it when everything is added, or new players will get a hard time to fit in the community. Not a single MMOrpg founda way to stop this from happening as of yet.
summer of last year, how long was that?
don't know, i wasn't much of a talker... was too busy mission grinding.
i think the main 3 girls had their third positions and ronan was getting dragon knight, and lass was new (i think...)
dunno... it'll forever remain a mystery... (personally, dont necessarily care as long as i enjoy the game)
