Since the new patch the game has been pretty lagged, I figured I'd make the arme guide I had been meaning to make for awhile. Disclaimer : Reading this post won't make you pro. Losing , and learning great technique from those losses are the only way to truly improve. You can read a million books on piano but you'll never be a master at it until you touch the instrument and practice. The same applies to arme. Additionally I will not provide the fingerings for moves here. I.e. I will not say >/<z = grab . I'm assuming that you already know this stuff. Arme and what you should know about her ::
Arme is both the slowest and fastest character in game. Technically, she moves slower than all the other jobs. However arme and XBOW are the only classes ( 90% sure) that can dash through their enemies, if another class is dashing through you, it's a good time to call LAN abuser and pull(no pun intended :( ) out mr. fraps. Whilst other players have to jump, arme can simply phantom-dash through an infinite number of enemies (given that they arent using special). This of course gives arme the ability to move around as swiftly as other jobs. Because arme is so slow , it gives an arme user a lot of room to be precise with their movements. E.g. You can double dash on a cliff in gorge without the fear of dashing off ( like those failed ronan x3) . You can also dash from an above pillar into and grab =D.
Arme has no fricken defense what so ever. She has no arrow defense. If she gets caught in a combo - she's pretty much a goner unless she counters with a fall or a pet. So here's the 1st tip : you should never be standing still as an arme for more than a second or two. You are strong yet fragile - If you spend most of the game dashing then you will get hit less. =] Hooray for phantom dash!
Arme has 12 specials, and 4 distinct attacks. A grand total of 16 different moves. This gives arme a great advantage in pvp. =] If you play your cards right your opponents will always be unaware of your next move. Which brings me to my 2nd tip: Don't use the same move over and over. Firestorm can be pulled of at most twice per game. Once your opponents know you have it - They will expect it the next time. Don't be predictable! Always keep your enemies guessing :D
Have I mentioned that you don't have any *** defense? If not here is a nice little comparison for you :http://forum.ntreev.net/grandchase/forums/thread/310323.aspx . Notice how arme got completely nerfed in both the defense and vitality department.
Meteor: A lot of people like to say "no one in free class gets hit by meteor" but I find that to be untrue. It's really a matter of how, where and when you cast it. This move is particularly great after a melee has cast his 3 bar. This is also a good move when an arme has cast lightning. Wait right before the skill ends, then cast. Meteors should be cast on the bottom platform (if you are on a map with platforms - Though this skill is most effective on flat maps. Maps with platforms give your enemies outlets to escape...and we just cant have that. ) preferably in the center of the map. If you happen to be near a wall cast meteor against the wall. Pros: If it hits directly your enemy will be most pwned. Cons : You just killed 3 bars of mp , what are you going to do if you need to counter? This sucks hardcore if you happen to miss. But hey, you probably made some melee lose a few bars of mp specialing air =D
Fire Storm: Oh hell! This is a cash move as you already know. If you hit someone with this - they are dead. A lvl 12 arme can probably kill al lvl 35 with this move. This move has the same set backs as meteor. Everyone knows when arme is about to cast firestorm because she jumps up with her magic stick then shouts FIRESTORM. Thus an arme must be fairly crafty to hit someone with this. This is best cast from a dash into a mess of players. Pros: Definite 1 hit KO - unless your opponent is a stacked lass or elesis with extremely high def and or vitality - and you have low attack. Cons: What can I say other than - obvious move is obvious. As I mentioned earlier you can only expect to cast one of these unexpectedly - after that everyone knows its coming. You can also be countered in firestorm - . It's a very unfortunate thing when a spear casts tornado swing (is that the right name? lol) whilst you have cast fs. There is a delay on YOU from your fs after the move, it only lasts about a second , but if an enemy is casting a special on you at the time, consider yourself owned.
Good Ol' Lightning + 1 bar : Lightning + 1 bar + Grab , will finish off most enemies. If's the most class of arme combos. As an arme you have only 2 useful one bars that you can cast after lightning. If you cast stone curse, your enemy will take the dmg of sc and lightning. I personally prefer Lightning + Shining Arrow followed by a grab. If you don't have high attack this is probably better than Light + sc. For one, some people don't take much dmg from stone curse additionaly, some people just have fricken h4x vitality and defense. Lightning + SA + Grab , will do the most damage and in most cases kill anyone. Pros: You just killed someone? Epic dmg? :D Cons: no more mp love.
Reverse Gravity (White magic 2 bar) + 1 bar : For some reason, this move is underused. I always see arme running around casting lightning, but not RG. You have 3 options with this 3 bar. 1) RG + Sc as your enemy falls. You of course have to cast this at the right time for it to work. If you do, there is no way what so ever to counter this SC. The second option is RG + Shield + Grab. I'm not going to lie, this is fairly tricky and hard to set up. What I mean to say is, there won't be many games where you'll get the chance to use this move. But if you do ~ consider your opponent most-owned. The point of this move is to send your enemy flying to the air. As we all know what goes up must come down, so when he or she does come hurtling down - cast your 1 bar shield to delay, then dash grab them. You'll probably need to run by this in practice mode a few times so that you get the hang of the timing. The 3rd option is also fairly nice, but needs good timing. You can RG + Shining Arrow, which has the possibility to being a 1 hit KO. Additionally you can RG+SA+Grab =]. Much like RG shield grab, it takes good timing. Pros; It kills people? lol. Honestly there's nothing that makes these moves particularly better than any other 2 bar combo. These are generally the harder ones to set up . So if you do happen to get it right, people will fawn over you and tell you how pro you are.. Well not really :3 but you'll feel all warm and fuzzy. Cons : Hard to get used to. Learning these moves can be a bummer, but once you do get it, it's amazing.
SAVOR ! SAVOR ! SAVOR! : Quite frankly, some people don't learn too quickly. You can use Savor to delay then grab. Repeat savor again , next to them and you will have another grab set up , Then repeat savor a 3rd time for your 3rd grab. This chain could of course be changed to SA + 2 savor grabs for the most damage. Pros: You can chain up to 4 grabs . Your opponent is probably dead. You just cheated the double grab . Cons: All jobs except arme I believe have an up kick - . E.g. When they fall and get up the hit you. Additionally your enemy could also get up with a special.
Athena Sword and my lovely 1 bar : I generally only use athena when im about to "spam" some running melee into submission , however there are other things you can do. You can cast athena in some arbitrary location, then dash in with a Savor -grab, stone curse, or SA grab . Pros: It's fun? Cons: You could have done so much more with 3 bars .
2 Bars of Mp - Not so bad! : =] hooray?
1 Bar of Mp :( - Fail : It's always good to have 1 bar of mp . You'll often need to delay and or counter .
Savor: This little green bubble...is god. I've seen many arme go entire games without recasting it. Then there are those arme who only cast it for a delay. It is obvious that some people really don't understand how much the shield does to protect an arme. One of the most important things it does is absorb grab damage. No matter how good of a player you are, you're going to grabbed at some point. If you're not playing with complete newbs, you're probably going to get grabbed atleast once per life. Assuming that your average grab (without protection) takes about 1/2 bar of hp - you'd be losing 1 and a half lives per match simply because you wouldn't cast green bubble. The bubble also absorbs the damage of stone curse. It can even save your *** from a lot of combos / 3 bars/ sticky situations. Let's just consider it your 1 free "oops". You can screw up once with this shield - and not die. *yawn* on the subject of savor, and how amazing it is. You can delay grab with it. Just cast your savor next to some doomed soul , then grab while they are frozen. Stone Curse: ...You know what it does? >.> right? I don't really have to sit here and tell you that it petrifies your enemy then takes away hp after it releases them, do I? ..Oh wait -.- Shining Arrow: I like to imagine it as a really long white fireball. They do the same thing, except this fireball delays. So if you happen to hit someone close buy with one of these, or even cast one near an enemy , don't hesitate to grab, kay?

Obviously this is incomplete lol ~ It's more of a work in progress and I'm sleepy so ciao ciao for now.
there are afew more things you can do with the Wand Wack thing~
Are you Encouraging Fb spam >> i agree with you that even "pro" armes dont use fbs cause they do,i use it quite often,i dont NEED it but its helpful, i dont think a Arme "GUIDE" should teach armes how to spam >> but thats just my opinion..
Savor-you might want to add you cant Delay grab arme >> cause they can dash and you cant see them..
i think you could have added alot more,
there are so many uses you're missing~
but..you said it is Unfinished~
if i was to rate it out of 10
6 1/2
.
Moose is not mean
I wasn't teaching anyone how to spam, I was simply pointing out instances when it is most advantageous to do so.
And arme can be delay grabbed with savor. Just savor + dash grab in the direction the arme phantom dashed in. In most cases you will get your grab because her pd is ending. You don't always need to see in order to grab someone =D!
I'm also well aware that I am missing a lot of things. I got tired of typing and decided to save it for another time.

99% of teens would die if myspace had a system failure and was destroyed. Copy-paste this into your signiture if you are one of the 1% that would die laughing.sabreal made the lire emoticons.
ferrikpm:crossbowman can dash through enemies.
