Well I saw one before I believe somewhere, even with images, unless I'm wrong, and I was looking for it again.  Does anyone know what I'm talking about?  I'm new to Ellia (entire continent, not just that one area) and I'm wanting to learn more about the bosses.

Did you mean - guide?

The closest thing I remember to that is this old thing here, which the creator(s) left GC so it's not longer updated, and only includes 2 of the Ellia bosses....

http://forum.ntreev.net/grandchase/forums/1/152460/ShowThread.aspx

Other than that I don't recall any other boss guides.

Lets see if memory helps.

Partusay's Sea - Boss: Partusay

This boss consists of 3 "parts" of a boss. These being the right foot, right arm, and crystal in his forehead.

The general consensus to defeating this boss is to take his parts out in the order of foot->arm->head.

The attacks the parts control

The foot causes a "jump" like attack. There is no warning, it will happen whenever he raises and lowers his foot.

The arm is responsible for creating whirlpools and stabbing. The whirlpools generated will always appear in the same location. He will only stab when your in the mid height during the fight.

The Head is responsible for shooting a beam attack.

Strategy

What you want to generally do no matter which character/job you play as, is immediately runover to his foot and begin attacking. Jump whenever you see his foot raise. Move back and forth in order to avoid the beam attack, but be wary of moving too much as you may end up being hit by a whirlpool.

Once the foot is destroyed, move up the platforms to where the arm is. Begin attacking the arm by standing as close as possible to the body, standing farther away will allow you to fall victim to whirlpools and stabbing. Jump whenever the beam is shot as you only get a small amount of space to avoid being hit by the whirlpool.

Once the arm is destroyed, move up to the highest platform next to the head. If you are melee you will generally have to jump attack to cause optimal damage as the chin can not be hurt. Try to time your jumps to avoid being hit by the beam.

Extras

You will have to worry about breathing in this fight. Every once in a while you need to go all the way up the platforms to the very top and get above the water. This can be solved very quickly if you can afford to take a little bit of damage, by this I mean intentionally walk into a whirlpool as it will send you high above the water. Breathing can be avoided completely if you equip an oxygen mask.

Ellia Continent - Elena & Kamiki

This is a 2 phase fight that involves adds.

Attacks - Elena

Lightning bolt: Fires a lightning bolt that goes in a straight line across the map only horizontally.

Fireblast: Melee range fire attack. Used only with teleporting.

Meteor: Drops a meteor from the sky that causes damage to anyone it passes over, and massive damage to anyone caught in the collision between it and the ground. Drops in front of where she is when she begins casting it.

Teleport: She can teleport around the room to wherever she pleases. She generally teleports next to a player and begins to attack them. She can not teleport while being juggled. Sometimes this glitches and she appears somewhere invisible. Rarely, she will teleport offscreen, there are two locations, one below the bottom left and the other is above the top middle.

Summon: She will respawn all the adds if there are less than 2 alive.

Attacks - Kamiki

The majority of Kamiki's attacks show off a glow before she uses them. The color decides the attack.

No color: Add summon. Only used if add count is less than 2.

Gold: Gains super armor.

Red: Shoots a large fireball both left and right. Make sure you can always get above or below kamiki.

Dark Blue: Freezing aura. Get away from Kamiki. Very high damage and will cause the freeze effect on you.

Light Blue: Lightning bolts will drop from the sky. These are evenly spaced away from kamiki. These show a small line where they will land before they do. These can not pass through the platform she is standing on when she casts it.

Black: Creates an aura around her that will cause damage and send the player flying away. Also releases curse balls. The circle will cause curse as well.

The other attack kamiki does is the only one she has a pose for. She will releases two blasts of energy in front of her that travel to the end of the stage.

Teleport: Kamiki can teleport, she is forced to do it if she is ever knocked down, or knocked into the air. She will also teleport and then do an attack like Elena.

Strategy

The fight starts against Elena. She is very simple. Just always get the first attack after a teleport and her attacks will stop. Try to always be behind her, and if you can, juggle her. The adds are no worry, just try to keep her away from them so they can't interrupt you. You want to try and fight her in the lower left corner of the room. Once she goes down, she morphs into Kamiki.

You want to fight Kamiki on the top most platform. Unlike Elena, Kamiki CAN teleport while being juggled. After teleporting she will attack. Every time she teleports move either down to the platform below or up to the platform above and prepare for the attack. Avoid knocking her down and remain on her backside if you can. She will always teleport behind you, so you can bait her into a 3 bar if you know what you are doing. Just make sure if you do, that if your 3 bar is not a long time attack that she isn't going to be doing the freeze aura.

Temple of Fire - Basilisk

This fight is a nightmare for melee.

Attacks

Diagonal Fireball: Shoots a fireball diagonally to the lower left. Getting on the left side of the platform or all the way to the right on the floor will avoid it.

Horizontal Fireball: Shoots a fireball horizontally across the stage. Get on the platform to avoid it.

Claw Smash: Slams the ground with the claw creating a "jump" like attack. Watch the claw and when it is raised, jump.

Strategy

This fight is very difficult for melee as you can not just sit there and beat on the basilisk.  The target you need to hit is its head. This is accomplished as a melee by jumping from the platform and attacking, then running back and repeating over and over. After the basilisk takes enough damage, his head will drop to the ground momentarily. Take advantage of this time and deal as much damage as you can, as no attacks can happen. After reawakening, the basilisk will immediately do a horizontal fireball. Get on the platform and repeat 3 times to kill it.

Extras

The basilisk can not temporarily drop its head if it is currently doing an attack. Though damage caused afterwards will cause it to still fall.

The head will drop at 75%, 50%, and 25%.

Hell's Bridge - Gardosen

This fight can be rough the first few times you do it. Practice and experience make it dramatically easier.

Attacks

Dash: Gardosen will forward and hit everything in front of him. Make sure you can either get above his head or below his feet at any time during the fight.

Mass Meteor: 5 Meteors fall from the sky and leave a DoT(Damage over Time) on the ground where they land. They will always land in the same place. This is damaging on the meteor's physical embodiment, the explosion, and the fire it leaves behind. He says "Meteor" when he uses this attack.

Stone Orb: Gardosen will stick his sword into the ground in front of him and begin drawing all players towards it. After a small time, he will cause an orb attack to go out. Anyone caught in this orb will be afflicted with stone curse. He says "Stone Curse" when the orb is released.

Blade Beam: Gardosen will slash his sword causing a large beam of energy to fly out from him. Avoid just like the dash.

Oblivion: Gardosen will stab his sword out in front of him and 3 large beams will come out of the ground in front of him. You can be combo'd into all 3 beams if caught. This attack is similar to ronan's DK 3 bar attack.

Strategy

Gardosen is a very large opponent that nearly takes up the whole stage. His attacks generally hit anything from head to toe in front of him. The best idea is to take him to the center of the room, on the higher platforms, as dodging down is a lot easier than dodging up.  Gardosen likes to spam his moves to this fight can take a very long time until you can begin predicting him and know all his attacks.

Kaze'aze's Castle - Lass & Kaze'aze

This is a 2 phase fight. First against Lass, then against Kaze'aze.

Attacks - Lass

Dash: Lass will "skate" in front of him causing 2 sections where he can hit the opponent, midway and at the end. Lass is immune to damage during this.

Kunai: Lass will quickly jump forward over an opponent and drop kunai on them.

Final Strike: Lass will jump into the air and releases large amounts of energy down and in front of him diagonally.

Attacks - Kaze'aze

Tentacles: Kaze'aze will use the tentacles on her back to attack a short ways in front of her. This attack will hit twice.

Curse Ball: Kaze'aze will jump into the air and release 4 Large curse balls in diagonal directions from her. After traveling a short distance, these curse balls, break down into 4 smaller curse balls that travel diagonally from each of their respective large curse balls. These hit for the same amount no matter which part you get hit by and leave a curse effect on the player. This attack always travels the same path. The open areas are far away from kaze'aze and at tentacle range directly in front of her.

Mega Fireball: Kaze'aze will begin charging up power in front of her and then release and powerful fireball in front that will travel horizontally in front of her. To avoid this either get above or behind her.

Lightning: See Kamiki's lightning attack. Slightly longer range than Kamiki's.

Weak ground smash: Kaze'aze will do 4 flinching attacks directly in front followed by an attack that causes a "jump" effect.

Strong ground smash: Kaze'aze will 3 quick attacks that cause the "jump" effect. Distinguishable only that she swings farther.

Strategy

The fight will begin with Lass on the far left of the room. Simply move over and begin fighting him. This part can take a long time as he likes to use dash a lot making him immune to damage. You want to attempt to juggle him and keep him knocked down if you can as unlike every other fight so far it will actually increase the amount of time you get to hit him. Be wary of standing next to him if he is knocked down on the ground, he can get up and immediately kunai or just attack from the downed position. You want to fight him in the middle of the room on the base floor if you can not juggle him.

The fight against kaze'aze starts off with her on the left hand side. If you are melee you want to constantly keep jumping in front and behind her to avoid the majority of attacks. If you are ranged, stand on the platform just in front of her and attack from there. In this position you dont have to worry about curse balls. Something else to keep in mind: Kaze'aze does slightly move as the fight goes on. Once she moves close enough to the point you can't stand on the platform anymore, move to her backside on that platform and repeat from that side.

Extras

A crossbow using lire with a stored 3 bar should begin the fight against lass. Have the crossbow run over to lass, stand on the right side of him on his platform, face right, and use the 3 bar. The harpy will fall to where he dashes to. This works 95% of the time.

Lower Kastulle Ruins - Cyclops

Rough fight for melee.

Attacks

Charge: Cyclops will throw his should forward and charge forward. This can be avoided by either being on the high platform or by dropping into the holes.

Boulder Throw: Cyclops will rear back and roll a boulder at the opponent. This can be avoided by being in melee range with him, being behind him, jumping over it, falling into one of the holes, or standing on any platform(excluding when hes standing next to it).

Knockback: Cyclops will swing in front of him causing a knockback effect that causes damage twice, both on the initial hit and when you hit the wall. Avoid by being behind, or slightly away from him.

Ground Slam: Cyclops slams the ground causing a "jump" attack effect.

Apocalypse: Cyclops will slam the ground as hard as he can causing a "jump" effect and causing an attack similar to Gardosen's Mass Meteor only with even more meteors.

Field Effects

This fight has 2 spouts and 2 curse fog ranges. These spouts come out of the 2 holes found around the stage. These only appear shortly but quickly. They can be used to reach the high platform, or through bad timing, knock you out and into an attack from cyclops. The Fogs teleport between the high platform and the holes. These fogs cause very quick damage and leave a curse effect on the player. While it is on the top, it can not be on the bottom and vice versa.

Strategy

Cyclops is a very large enemy. He can not be jumped over(excluded bow lire, xbow lire and thief lass). When you fight him, make sure there is always a hole to escape to when you need to. He is very predictable, and all his moves have a specific stance that you can keep an eye out for.

Extras

The high platform's fog has holes in it that you can stand in to be out of the way of all attacks except for his apocalypse and ground slam attacks.

Upper Kastulle Ruins - Giant Stone Golem

This is a long fight.

This fight also contains adds.

Attacks

Whirlwind: He will swing around and hit anyone multiple times. You can not move while being hit by this. He will not do it as long as nobody is in melee range.

Earth Spike: He will pick up the ground in front of him and set it back down. This attack causes a ripple effect across the ground that knocks the player in the air. As long as a player is at his head level or below, he will do this attack. Avoided by not being on ground floor.

Summon: Summons adds. Can only occur when at least one add is dead.

Confuse: Reverses the players left and right keys.

Earthen Rain: Slams the ground causing a "jump" effect. Afterwards giant stones fall from the sky at random. Can be very hard to dodge. Suggest saving at least 1 bar in case of emergency dodging.

Strategy

Stand on the platform on either side of the room just above the base floor. Fight him from here. This just seems to be the best place to fight from as ranged. As a melee, you want to move to just above where his head is and attack from there and dash away whenever he goes to whirlwind.

Battle for Bermesiah - Dark Anmon

This is a rough fight.

This fight contains adds. Adds can begin fight with mods.

I am a little fuzzy on this fight.

Attacks

Dark Tornado: Similar to Stone Orb by Gardosen. Draws people close to just in front of him but instead of stone curse, it creates a whirlpool like effect. Only this one you can stay on forever if done just right.

Dash: Does a short dash launching players hit away.

Summon: Summons adds if add count falls below 2.

Explosion: Dark Anmon explodes causes a very large amount of damage and sends players flying away. To avoid, move away, or go below him.

Strategy

This fight is very quick paced, very hectic, and very hard to do until you've done it a few times. Most the attacks only take a couple seconds to do and you won't have enough time to escape if you are in mid combo. Fight him in either the lower left or lower right corners of the room on the platform above the floor.

Good luck. I may have missed a few things. I haven't played the game in months so its purely all from memory.

Thanks Wild! That's awesome! O-O

I'm also currently grinding on this continent, so this helps me a lot too. Cause I hate when I go into new dungeons and do decently (not dying at least) the whole thing until I get to the boss where I die completely in like two seconds.
