As everyone knows, I have been lurking about, behind the scenes. Mainly focused on obtaining every Crest in Champion Mode using what little time I have for Grand Chase at the moment. I have been reading over the thread, but I have not been posting.
While I have been absent, I have been working on a lot of materials for some major up-coming releases here in SoulStricken. Before I get to that, I would like everyone to welcome Mylitic to SoulStricken. Mylitic was an ex-Member of SoulStricken, who had become very busy and was unable to really be active in either the guild or Grand Chase. With that, she was expelled. But because I had not yet placed the Inactive and Member-Quality Policies, Mylitic has returned to SoulStricken without hassle.
Although she my start out with Recruit Status and a Skill Rank of C, she will lead our newest department of SoulStricken as our Administrator of Productions and Productions Manager. I will also be a Member of the Productions Department, working with Mylitic with the goal of releasing many top-quality videos through Youtube. These videos will server several purposes, some will promote the guild, others will be videos used to introduce a new and highly anticipated event, and some may even be instructional videos for events with slightly complex rules that text alone, cannot explain.
In addition to this, Mylitic will be donating Cash Point Codes to the guild, which will initially increase our number of activities and the span of our prizes for those who win these events. If anyone else would like to donate, feel free to contact me. But please be sure that these codes are valid, have not been used, and type them carefully so that there are no errors. The Donations Center will be established very soon, this is where all donations will be logged according to who donated them, where they are going, what they will be used for, etc. This way, everyone knows exactly where their donations are going. There will also be rewards for those who donate, big rewards and even bigger rewards who donate more than once.
I myself, am tired of being the only one funding guild activities, and yet you guys want me to increase the number of activities and events we do? I founded this guild with the soul purpose of bring more entertainment out of Grand Chase, to those who faithfully play it. As much as I enjoy creating these unique and entertaining events and keeping everyone satisfied, I just do not have enough money to continually keep the events flowing. With the Donations Center and generous donors, I will be able to increase both, the number of activities we do and the size of the prizes the winners will receive. Initially solving this problem. That goes without saying, I will continue to donate my fair share to guild activities as well. As leader, I will never take the back seat and leave the Members to do all the work. I absolutely despise the idea of that.
With all of that said, the following features will be released within the next two weeks.

○ Main Feature
• Contents of the Main Feature.
○ Donations Center - This is my first and foremost, priority release. This will come first.
• Everyone who donates, as a Member of the guild or otherwise, will receive a raffle ticket. With enough donations, there will be a raffle every two weeks. The winner of that raffle will receive two codes for 10,000 Cash Points each. This will increase or decrease depending on the amount of donations received. The more you donate, the more raffle tickets you will receive, increasing your chance at winning the 20,000 Cash Points Prize.
• If you donate and are a Member of SoulStricken, not only will you be entered in the raffle that takes place every two weeks, but you will receive additional guild-related prizes ranging from Promotions and Skill Rank-Ups, to a spot in the Hall of Fame, Merit Badges, and much more.
• With generous donors and enough donations, the number of events and features that are released in SoulStricken will increase phenomenally. The cash prizes offered to the winners of the events, will also increase depending on the amount of donations received.
• An Up-To-Date Entry Log will be available at all times, so everyone can see who has donated, and where their donations went or are going towards. This will ensure that everyone knows that nothing corrupted, false intent, or anything of that nature will take place. You can rest easy, knowing your donations are safe and secure and will go exactly where you intended them to go.
• Everyone who donates, reserves the right to decide where their donations should go. This means, if you donate and would like your donations to be used as prizes in a particular up-coming event, then that's where they will go, no questions asked. At the same time, you do not have to decide on it, and the donations will go towards whatever is deemed appropriate.
○ Elemental Progression System - This will come immediately after the release of the Donations Center.
• After you have chosen your Element, which is visible next to your signature when posting, you will be able to gain Elemental Progression Points, or "EP" for short. With enough EP, your Elements will level up to more advanced versions of their respective Elements. The higher the level, the more advanced the visual graphics of your Element will become. Work hard enough towards it, and you'll have yourself an incredibly nice Elemental Member Seal for everyone to see, where ever you post.
• An entire roster will be placed, with a Elemental Progression Tree for each Member. With this Tree, you will be able to keep track of what Elements you have unlocked, what their current levels are, and how much EP you have until their next respective Level-Ups. In this chart, for those who cleared SoulStricken Trials Part 1, will see their Stone of Unity Item in their chart. Indicating that they have a permanent 20% EP Rate Bonus. With this stone, you will gain much more EP, meaning much faster level-ups.
• You can switch between Elements at will, but in order to do so, you must use an Element-Switch Point or have an Element-Switch Card in your possession. These items will be available for purchase in the new AP Shop upon the release of the new Achievements Thread. You will also be able to purchase EP and Elemental Progression Packages, if you have enough AP to do so. If you switch Elements, your Element will still keep it's current level and EP Balance. Each time you unlock another Element, you will have to start from scratch with it and work your way up. But each Element will have it's own amount of EP, and It's own level, based on how much you have progressed with each element that is available to you.
• Once you have met the Requirements for certain Elements, using an Element-Switch Point or Element-Switch Card, you will be able to unlock those Elements. For those who do not quite understand this aspect, here is an example: In order to obtain the Storm Element, you must meet this Element's respective requirements. The requirements for the Storm Element are unlocking the Water Element, Lightning Element, and Wind Element, all of which must be at least level 2. So, if you have the goal of achieving the Storm Element, you'll have to choose one of those three Elements as your default, level it up to level 2, use a Element-Switch Point or Card, and unlock the next required Element, and repeat this process until you have met the requirements. Without an Element-Switch Point or Card, you will not be able to switch Elements.
• EP can also be gained by participating in SoulStricken Events that offer EP as a reward for your participating. From time to time, there will be Events that specifically target the Elemental Progression Feature, and will offer substantially larger EP rewards than normal Events.
• The maximum level for all Elements will be 4, until more content for this feature is released. Combination Elements such as the Storm Element that was mentioned earlier, will not have levels. These stand-alone Elements will have preset advanced graphics and will be well-worth having, even without being able to level them. The EP rate from levels 1 "default" to 4 "maximum" are as followed: Lvl. 1 ► 2 = 100 EP /// Lvl. 2 ► 3 = 220 EP /// Lvl. 3 ► 4 = 340 EP.
• With 8 different default-Elements to choose from and start with, 4 levels for each of them, and additional Stand-Alone Elements, there will be over 40 different Elemental Seals for Members to wield and work towards. There will be milestones, in which you receive praise and rewards for unlocking Elements. These milestones will be as followed: Unlock 10 Elements, Unlock 20 Elements, Unlock 30 Elements, and Unlocking all 40 Elements. As more content is added for this feature, there will be more milestones and more rewards that follow. Leveling your Element will also count towards milestones. Let's say you start with the Fire Element, this is the only Element you have unlocked, it is your default Element. You are currently 1 / 10, since unlocking 10 Elements is the milestone that's closest to you. Now, you work hard enough, and level your Fire Element from 1 to 2. Now your Fire Element is level 2, and you are now 2 / 10. So as a re-cap to what was mentioned above, Leveling an Element, counts towards Milestones since you initially unlocked it's next level.
• If you are expelled, or if you resign from SoulStricken, all Elements, EP Balances, and Element Levels will be lost, if you have the Stone of Unity, this will also be lost. If you are lucky enough to be given the opportunity to return to SoulStricken, you will have to start all over again. If you are suspended from SoulStricken for whatever reason, you are temporarily denied access to SoulStricken and all of it's features, including this one.
○ The Achievements Table & AP Shop - New, improved, and back by Popular Demand!
• Unlike the old Achievements Table Thread, the new thread will not be ran by me alone. The thread will instead, be ran by myself and an additional 2 Members who are carefully chosen by me. The thread will be broken into 3 separate posts, first post will include the introduction to the thread, a functioning link to the Main Guild Thread and the Voting Polls & Discussion Thread, the Rules and Regulations of both the thread and the AP Shop, and of course, the AP Shop it's self. In addition to this, Member's "AP Inventories" will be available for viewing. This section will include all items that have been purchased and have not yet been used.This section will be ran by me.
The second section will include a secondary Roster, with the names of every Member of SoulStricken and their respective AP Balances. The Member who is given the responsibility of keeping this up-to-date, in par with our main roster found here on the Main Guild Thread, has been offered to Yosei / WanderingOne. He has accepted and agreed to do his absolute best in maintaining this section of the thread.
The third section to the thread will obviously be the Achievements Table, including all of the achievements that were available on the old thread and new ones, all of which will include their respective AP Rewards and information on their requirements and how to complete them. I have yet, to choose a responsible enough Member who can maintain this massive and important part which is vital to both the thread and the entire AP System it's self.
• Upon the release of the new and improved AP Shop, all the old items will return to the shop and many new items will be added. Unlike the old AP Shop, the new one will include slightly higher priced "voucher" versions of certain items such as "Forgiven" or "Redemption" which had to be used immediately upon the purchase of the item. The voucher versions of these items, although may be slightly higher priced, they can be saved and used whenever you feel the need to use them. So, you are paying a bit more, for the sake of convenience. As well as a wide assortment of items to promote the new Elemental Progression Feature.
• It doesn't stop there, items will now have visuals, instead of just being text, all items will now have their own respective images. So you can literally "see" the item that you are purchasing. All Items will also receive an adjusted balance to their prices. Some may cost more, others may cost less, but it is all within the best interest of the AP System.
• The newly enhanced AP Shop, will also have a sale, 10% off all Items, both new and old until December 11th. "Discount Cards are excluded from any sale as stated in the AP Shop Policies and Guidelines Section. Their respective prices will remain the same."
• And to top it all off, a special AP Shop Exclusive Event will take place from the time of it's release until December 11th. With each item you purchase during the event, you will receive 1 Reward Point per purchase. Each day, a random multiplier will be selected "ranging from 2 to 4" and when you buy something, your reward point will be multiplied by that day's multiplier. So if you purchase 4 things in the AP Shop, you will receive 4 Reward Points and on the day of your purchase, the multiplier was 3, 4 Reward Points x 3 = 12 Reward Points. That means you earned 12 RP instead of 3. But there's a catch, in order to find out what that day's multiplier is, you must purchase an item in the AP Shop. There will be a large list just below the AP Shop, containing prizes that can be obtained by using the Reward Points that you have earned. So play it smart and win big until December 11th! All Reward Points must be spent by December 11th, any existing Reward Points after the said date, will expire and be discarded upon the conclusion of this event.

○ About This Event: Halloween is right around the corner! So to celebrate, SoulStricken prepares for this occasion with a festivity of Mini-Events lasting until November 1st and wrapping it all up with a nice Pumpkin Smashing-style Tournament! You may choose to particpate in one of these events or all of them, there will be prizes given for each event individually. So the more events you participate in, the more prizes there are to be had! So indulge yourself with all of the fun and prizes offered through this Halloween-themed Event.
If you wish to participate in any of these events, please read over this entire Event section carefully. After doing so, send a Conversation to YuYevon, including your IGN and the events that you wish to participate in. Once this entire event has been concluded, please follow the directions provided below for each event, and any screen shots that you send to YuYevon via conversation, place the screen shots in the same Conversation that you sent at the beginning of the event when signing up.

○ Event Information: During this Event Period, there will be several Halloween-themed "mini-events" and they are as followed:

*Chest Collecting -- (Entire Duration) -- Collect as many Pumpkin Chests as possible, screen shot them and send it to YuYevon via conversation.
*Enter, Seighart -- (Entire Duration) -- Unlock and level the new character, Seighart, as high as you possibly can before November 1st.
*A Dark New Partner -- (Entire Duration) -- If you were lucky enough to obtain Dokaebi, level him as high as possible before November 1st.
*A Brass Companion -- (Entire Duration) -- If you were lucky enough to obtain DK-MARK 3, level it as high as possible before November 1st.
*Pumpkin Smash-Off -- (Saturday, Oct. 31st) -- Another tournament, Pumpkin Smashing-style!

• Chest Collecting:
* Any chests that you open, will not be compensated. If you open a chest, it will decrease your total and you must obtain more chests to make up for the loss.

* All submissions for this part of the event, must be sent to YuYevon via conversation before November 1st. Any submissions posted on the forums or sent to YuYevon after 11:59pm "Central" on October 31st, will be considered invalid and will be ignored. Once your submission has been deemed "invalid" because you did not obey this rule, will make you ineligible for this part of the event. All submissions from you, for the "Chest Collecting" mini-event will be ignored.
• Enter, Seighart:
* In cooperation with GM_Syn, upon the conclusion of this event, all participants will be investigated to ensure that no "Swapping and / or Dual-Boxing" occurred. If you have been investigated and have been found "guilty" of this offense, you will receive severe punishment against your account from Ntreev, as well as punishment here in the guild. This may range from suspension from guild activities, auto-demotion to Recruit Status and D Skill Ranking, to complete and permanent expulsion from SoulStricken and all of it's affiliations. Cheating will not be tolerated in this guild.
All participants will also be checked for the use of 3rd party software, or in other words; Hacking Programs. The punishment for this offense is complete account closure. If you have been found "guilty" of this offense, your account and everything on it, will be deleted from the Server's Database with no chance of appeal. In addition to this, the kind folks down at Ntreev will place a nice shiny IP Ban on your connection, permanently disabling you from creating a new account or logging into another, on either the site or on the game client it's self, from your current IP, given to you by your Internet Service Provider

* Read very carefully over both, these rules and the Pumpkin Smash-off Information sub-section below this section. You will be expected to abide by all of the rules and terms stated in both of these sections. By participating in this Tournament, you are agreeing to all of the rules and terms of this Tournament and agree to take full responsibility for your actions if you violate these rules and / or terms. If you have been deemed "guilty" for violating these terms and / or rules, you will receive punishment according to your violation, with the lowest level of punishment being Disqualification from this Tournament. If you have been disqualified from the Tournament for misconduct and / or violating the rules / terms of this Tournament, you will be ineligible for any prizes that are awarded through the participation in the "Pumpkin Smash-off Tournament' mini-event. * There are no stat-limits for this Tournament, you may equip and use any weapon, armor, accessory, or pet.
* There are no Class and / or Character limits, you may use whatever Character & Class that you desire.

* The date for this Tournament is set but the time of the Tournament is not. The Time will be set as soon as possible. All participants must be on the Gaikoz Server, Free Class PvP Lobby 5 minutes before the initial Starting time of the Tournament. All participants will be expected to arrive at all of their matches on time. All participants will be given 3 minutes to enter the room of their match. If a participant fails to show up, after the 3 minute waiting period, they will immediately be disqualified and the opposing participant will win the match by default. In addition to this, all participants must have their Invites turned on. If you fail to do so, you may miss your match and be Disqualified.
* The use of Skill Trees is strictly prohibited. If you are caught using any ST-related techniques, skills, or abilities, you will be immediately Disqualified, even if it was by mistake. You are fully responsible as participant of this Tournament, to abide by all of the said rules and terms, as stated in Rule 1 of the "Pumpkin Smash-off Tournament" Rules section.
* All participants have the right to a rematch if they lag-out. If you lag out a second time, your opponent will be given the option to claim win by default, or give you a rematch, they will have the right to choose either of these options. Each participant will be given one "rematch due to lag out" once every scheduled match. This means that you are allowed to lag-out once every scheduled match. If you lag-out more than once and your opponent chooses to claim win by default, it will be considered a match lost, not a disqualification. You will receive prizes according to your participation and placement in the Tournament. "Placement is based on your time of elimination, an example would be 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, so on and so forth."
○ Pumpkin Smash-off Tournament Information: In this section, you will find all of the information about this Tournament, with the exception of the rules which can be found in the sub-section above this section.
• Tournament Type: 1 vs 1, Single-Elimination - 16 Participants, 8 Matches
• Game Mode: Pumpkin Smash, No Items
Yevon's Twisted Mode:: In this Tournament, during all matches, all participants will be expected to abide by a unique game-play, a slight combination of both Defending your Pumpkin and not Defending your Pumpkin. The Game-Play requirement is as followed: ‡† Defeat Your Opponent ► Attack The Pumpkin †‡ At the start of each match, you and your opponent will not attack the opposing player's Pumpkin. Instead, the both of you will face off like a regular PvP match. You both fight until one of you get knocked-out. Once you or your opponent have been knocked-out, proceed to attack the enemy's Pumpkin during the 5-second respawn delay. As soon as the player as respawned, you are to immediately stop attacking the Pumpkin and proceed with fighting the player again. Repeat this process until a Pumpkin has been destroyed. ‡† Fat Stats Will Only Screw You †‡ I, as the host of this Tournament, will create each room, meaning I will be gathering both opponents in rooms that I create, for every scheduled match of the Tournament, from beginning to end. With that said, I will clearly see everyone's stats before the start of each of match. • Date & Time: The Tournament will take place on Saturday, October 31st. The time for the Tournament has not yet been decided.
• Requirements For Tournament To Be Held: In order for us to have this Tournament, we must have 16 participants. If we do not get 16 participants by Saturday Morning, the Tournament will not be held nor will prizes for this Tournament be given.
• Registration: Send a post containing your In-game Name, and a statement confirming that you want to participate in this Tournament, to YuYevon via Conversation. If you put your post any where else, it will be deemed invalid and will be ignored.
○ Prizes: This section contains the list of all prizes offered for each individual mini-event as well as the consolation prizes for participating. All prizes listed here do not stack with one-another. Depending on the event, whatever prize is closest to your final results, is the prize that you will receive. "Example- You collect 56 Pumpkin Chests, you will only receive the prizes offered for collecting 50 Pumpkin Chests.
• Consulation Prizes: All Members who participate in this event, will receive the following:

If you participate in multiple events, where ever you stand in terms of final results for each mini-event, will determine what prizes you will receive. The more mini-events you participate in, the more prizes you can win.
The Gloom Discount Card is a Halloween-themed Discount Card for use in the AP Shop. It offers a discount of 15% off all AP Shop Item Purchases. This card has unlimited uses and will expire January 1st, 2010. This card will not replace your current Discount Card, if you have one. This card cannot be used with other discount cards. However, this card's discount can be combined with discounts offered through sales in the AP Shop.

Reward Tier Information-
• The rewards listed, will stack, you will obtain everything listed as you continue to donate.
• You do not have to donate the entire amount at once to receive the desired prize. All donations will be logged for each Donor, and will never be improperly altered or removed. This works in the same way that "Mileage Points" are earned when purchasing Cash Points for Grand Chase.
• Once you have donated and earned the highest amount possible, your appearance in the log will slightly change. Indicating that you have received all of the prizes listed. There may be more more tiers added to the list in the future, if this occurs, all prizes will be distributed retro-actively according to the amount you have donated beyond the original tier of prizes. "Example- If you donate up to 130$ and new tier is added, you will receive all the prizes up to or closest to your total donation of 130$. If a new tier is added, your appearance in the log will return to normal until you have reached the maximum for the new tier.
