more info on the vista bug(mainly for gms)

i dont rly know exactly how to fix it, but im just giving info from my experience, so far i have been restarting my pc to log on to the game it doesnt work alot of the time but sometimes it does, but once i get to play it works perfectly fine until the next patch, after every patch the bug starts to happen again, i dont rly know why but it does and usually ill have to wait a few days to a week til im able to play again, but thats all the experience i have on the bug, i hope this will help u guys in some way so that us vista users can play =) thnx

Try right clicking the application and click "Run as Administrator"

if that doesnt work:

right click the GC icon. Choose properties. Then click the compability tab. From the drop-down menu choose Windows XP.

hehe thnx, ive been using those methods to play, i just made this post to tell the gms about how the bug happens after every new patch =)

I use vista... and I never get an error... -I always ALWAYS put any game into windows XP at properties- and I always ALWAYS run every game with right click -> run as administrator..

 

I never had an error from GC at all.. Only connection errors -__- Cause my interwebs is lame
