ProjectNC: In joining a room, most people tend to "make themselves useful" (since at times, joining and actually getting accepted in one is a hurdle in itself already). The common notion being, "I who moves around more and hits more, does more." It would be pretty weird though, if you, say, keep at it with the same 4-man team for a couple of dungeon streaks, and STILL the "teamwork" doesn't kick in.I mean, LOL... it doesn't necessarily mean that they have to be personal buds or whatever, but when everyone sees that s/he does this, s/he does that, the okay-then-I'd-be-doing-this/that kicks in almost automatically.Unless you're dealing with some "NO-I-PWN-THIS-MAP-CALL-ME-KING/QUEEN-NAO!" kid, then... iunno. *chases a butterfly*

It wasn't a useless bump, at least.

Actizm:The only teamwork I've seen in Dungeons were accidental... like someone hits a enemy upwards... the guy up top accidentally catches him and well... juggled senseless into the air.
I have a funny story that falls under what you just said. So I was doing lower floors with a group and I was using my DK (I know why would anyone use DK in a dungeon). Anyway I did an infinity sword and knock some dark mage in the air. Well the Xbow on my team was gonna use her Harpy shot and it turned out that she was to far but me knocking this guy up in the air put him right in the line of fire. We thought it was so funny we kept doing it for the rest of he run. So I agree that most of the time its a accident.
i play GC with ym cousin and we teamwork alot no matter the cahracetrs we use lol ..you know why? lol we are always talking ont he phone when we play lol but---------- i like team work iam usually alchemist and i use teamwork alot not only cause it can heal but i help poeple kill bosses from 5secs to 5min maxmum lol all i do is instead of using savior and big bomb thingy i use the itme grant skill and that way i put my hand son some blue orbs(mp restore items) then at boss i wait till everyone including myself use there 3rd skill and use mp restore... its a good way to teamwork and i hope all u mage/alchemists out there learned a thing or 2
P.S.. if the people ur working with dont teamwork just tell them i usually do that...
P.S.S.. if i worte a word wrong dont mind it lol i was writing this really fast =P

That sounds like it would quickly rack up the phonebills. Why don't you just use vent or something?
snark ftw even though he owned me._. nwayz rofl
edit:that brings up a funny story...
iArrow:I realized that no one shows teamwork in dungeons ._., maybe a little in pvp but like none in dungeons. Even though you have a team of four, no one made a topic or a guide of combos that classes can use to like pwn a boss or whatever. So many times have I missed with my attacks because my teammate knocked it down or out of range. Everyone concentrates on being a "pro" at their own character, which is good, but not good if it disrupts your teammate's attacks. Most of the time, everything works out fine but there are other times where your team takes super long with a battle or its a failure because the team fails to cooperate. So.....where did the teamwork go?

The closest thing i've seen to teamwork is me spamming bombs in a corner at gaikoz while party members kick him in the face.
Without communication i think teamwork is usually accidental.
Most people don't really care about there teamate because they don't know them (myself included)
I tend to scope out my partners and learn their habbits and try to set up the most consistent player if I can, be it with help launching or sending more enemies into their line of fire. It usually goes unnoticed .
But If I'm with friends, it goes really well. My favourite combo was my friend using Fire Storm on Gaikoz and I used the launch to give him an areal Air Spiral with my Elesis.
Teamwork is there, you just need to realize if it's in action.

Well I try to do as much teamwork as I can but as we don't know each other and their tactics it is imposible, especialy cause to do teamwork you need to practice which as you met the first time is like imposible...
My only achivements in teamwork were:
I usually shield Armes
I try to use MP restore after most members have used 3rd grade skill...
Elesis lv42 Savior
Lire lv42 Xbow
Arme lv34 Mage
Lass lv34 Assassin
Ryan lv12 Druid
Ronan lv48 Abyss Knight
meh, when ever I try to teach teamwork to my comrades it fails, my instructions are simple, use a specific emote for a skill or a important move, but they all ignore me, heck I even told my guild and they ignore me o_o
