I. Negative/Derogatory Terminology
II. Dungeon Crawling Terminology
III. Player vs Player Terminology
IV. Miscellanious Game Terminology
V. Common Terminology (Found outside of Grand Chase and within it)
--
Bottomfeeder - A Player who relies mostly on killing those with significantly lower levels and stats than they do, often to up their win count without a troublesome fight. While generally looked down upon, it is not an offense of any sort.
Casher/Cash Noob - A derogatory term used by sore losers to signify that one has had an unfair advantage over the other because of the use of "Cash Items" which the opponent has purchased. Such a term should be avoided, as it is like complaining that someone's car that they paid a bunch of money on, is faster than the one your parents handed down to you for free. (I do not condone Street Racing!)
Cheater - Another term also innapropriately given by most sore losers, this term is usually for those who are using "Cheat Programs" or "Hack Programs" instead of actually hacking the game. While they may display similar characteristics of a "Hacker", they themselves are not really hacking. However, it is an intolerable offense, and similar punishment given to "Hackers" will be given out to Cheaters.
Dual-Boxer - Often called "Swappers" as well, the term "Swapper" is unusally tagged to Dual-Boxers as well. Dual-Boxing is the act of using two computers and two accounts on Grand Chase, allowing the Main Account to continually abuse and kill the Slave Account without resistance, creating a one sided increase in win/loss ratio and count. Not only does this earn them a high win percent, and a guaranteed spot on the PvP Rankings board, it allows for levelling much faster than any other legit method in the game. This is considered a heavy offense, and greater forms of action will be taken if you are caught in this act.
FKer (Free Killer) - a Variant of the "Swapper", a "Free Killer" lures people in, with oddly large numbers of win/lose exhanges, example: "I win 10 times, you win 10 times." Such players will usually kill their victims the 10 times, and then leave without giving the other player their promised share. Such action is generally viewed as intolerable, and action may be taken if you are caught doing such an act.
Froob - A Counter-term to "Casher", a Froob, or "Free Noob" is one who does not buy Cash Items, and therefore, is considered of lower skill (For no reason) than a Casher. This term is not used often, but it should also be avoided, considering that not everyone can pay up real money, hence, why they play the game: because they can do it for free.
Hacker - A term usually given inappropriately most of the time to players who constantly beat sore losers, a true Hacker is one who hacks the game to the point where things that should not be happening purposely, and exploiting it to the fullest offense. Some examples of this would be modifying your number of lives, creating infinite health and such and such. Such action is intolerable. Suyasi says: Server side hacking, such as modifying cash points, would also be considered a Federal Offense.
Leecher - One who will usually join a game in hope that their team-mates will win, and will not perform any sort of action, completely relying on the team (except themselves) to get experience without them lifting (or pushing down with) a finger. This sort of action is extremely frowned upon by every player, but as far as administrators go, no such action will be taken. General punishment is usually creatively given out by the community themselves.
Lurers - A Player who often puts up alluring room titles such as "Win = 5k Cash", despite the fact that there is no way to give out rewards to other players in Grand Chase. However, they may attempt to "Scam" you if you do win, or, they will simply expel you from the room and hope for more victims. Most Lurers are generally "Bottomfeeders", feeding off naive players of a lower level.
Reportee - A sore loser who complains about natural gameplay, often calling "Lag Abuse" or "1st/3rd Skill Abuse" or even "Hacking" when the Opponent is not doing anything they were accused of. Reportees will then say something like "I recorded a video" or "I took a screenshot" that probably won't incriminate you, as well as followup by saying "GM_### will see your punishment" and leave. While public reports of Reportee Backfires do not occur, rest assured the GMs do not take lightly to false accusation. Do not be intimidated by Reportees when you know you have done nothing wrong.
Scammer - One who often tries to ask for your personal information, specifically, your username and password. Do not give any of these to anyone who asks, or you will not see your account again. Scammers should be reported to the administration for action to be taken against them.
Swapper - One who exchanges wins with another, usually allowing a "Person B" person to kill "Person A" without resistance (No fighting) in exchange for allowing "Person A" to kill "Person B" which will increase both their wins and loss numbers but will generally have no effect on their Win Rate %. As such, a person with a low win rate %, such as 30%, will be able to recieve monthly ranking prizes since losses generally have no effect on the rankings board unless there is a tie. In short: "Person A" and "B" are exploiting the game in order to both achieve monthly rankings, as well as killing the true spirit of the game by not fighting in a fighting oriented game, as well as allowing "Easy Levelling". This is considered an offense, and action will be taken if you are caught by the administration.
Switcher - A variant of the "Tagger," They emit the same behavior and appear outside of tag games, however, their method of switching involves simultaenously pressing two keys to switch characters directly before starting the game. This is considered "glitch abuse" and is frowned upon, but as of this time, there is no word on whether or not the GMs find this a cardable offense.
Tagger - Also generally "Bottomfeeders," a Tagger will often put up Tag games with the title 0-10 (Usually low numbers) and have their character display a character within such limits. However, they pick out their strongest character as their actual playing character, and will thus destroy all the low levels with their more powerful character. Generally frowned upon, but not an offense to the administration.
TK (Talk/Type Killing) - TehAzn says: Attacking or Killing a person who is in the middle of typing. It's not a solid rule in GC, simply because one cannot tell when their opponent may be typing. It's not a definite rule in all gaming, since people claim that pressing enter is not a "pause" button, especially in the heat of battle of fast-paced games. However, it is proper respect to not TK in some games, it just does not apply to most games.
---
Boss Rush - Finding the quickest path to the Boss without doing any "Optional" Rooms that may happen along the way.
Full Run/Full Rooms - Doing every room possible (Some Dungeons do not allow backtracking, but usually involves split paths. Clearing every room after the split counts as a "Full Run") before confronting the Boss.
Half-Rush - A combination of both of the above, it is the same as a Boss Rush, but only doing Single Room Extensions (Doing one room on a branch instead of doing all three).
1v1 (In-Game) - When the term "1v1" is uttered during a game, it is usually by the team which only has one member left when the other team has two or more members remaining. If the team with a greater amount of living members agrees, the last remaining member of the team is to fight one member of the other team at a time, giving them a more distinct advantage to win rather than beating the other team 1v2/1v3. However, if it is not agreed to by any team, then no complaining should occur. As my old friend Duckie said: 1v1 is a privilege, not a right. If the other team lets it happen, it happens. If not, tough luck.
1v1 (Out of Game) - This term is usually uttered to offer a "Challenge" to someone in the World Chat, PvP Lobby Chat or even the forums. An example would be "Come one Player7889, 1v1 me!" If you ever get caught in the position of having someone Challenge you to a 1v1, you will notice that most of the choices you will pick will have a negative outcome. Denying the challenge results in having word spread of you as a "Coward" for not accepting a challenge. Accepting and Losing will often earn you an "Infamous" title for losing to such and such, because the winner may brag about it. Accepting and Winning may earn you some respect, but you will often find that sometimes the Challenger and their friends will make rude comments to bring you down, such as "He lagged/cheated that game, rematch" to deny their loss. Accepting or denying repeats the cycle again. (More on this will be continued, another time)
Teaser of what's next: Dual Aiming - But I'm Being lazy! Again! Coming soon!
Shadowstep (incomplete) - (Please help me with the correct definition) A general term for "Advanced Air Dashing" with Elesis. It can be advanced further into "Flash Stepping" and "V Stepping". There is even a term called "Korean Flash Step". The general idea behind Shadow Step is using a sequence of ground dashes and air-dashes shortly after, which are propelled downwards where the cycle repeats again. This essentially makes Elesis one of the faster (if not the fastest) characters in the game. This maneuvre is only available to Swordsman and Sworsmaster. (Unreleased content such as the Savior will not be covered in this guide) - to be continued later

Black Cards are rarely given out, but are for extremely heavy offenses: They also give out a very very heavy stat and exp penalty.
DK - Dragon Knight; Ronan's Second Job
JGC - Japanese Grand Chase; Language: Japanese; Server Taken Down: JGC is no longer active.

MMMMMMMMM. Special Terminology
i. Dk Abuser - A title given to Auraz by a sore loser because he could not handle the way he played a Donkey Kong.
Donkey Kong Barrrel Abuse
ii. Knight Master - The ultimate being, whose slogan is "You Guys!" However, she gives you her final mission just before the Battle against Red Gorgos. She is not heard from again later in the story; perhaps she is like the G-man, working in the shadows of reality, aiding the Grand Chasers... and Kaze'aze at the same time. While a church and religion was created in her Honor by Snark preclaiming her to be the one and only goddess of the Grand Chase World, no one yet knows the true role and purpose of the Knight Master.
Church of the Knight Master - posted by Snark
iii. Coming Soon - An old "meme" particularly specific to the Grand Chase Forums. Practice of this meme involved going to a thread where a forumer would ask about the release of unavailable content, and replying with a picture of Arme, Lire and Elesis with the Title "Coming Soon" to let the poster know that they should just wait patiently. This fad died out early, only lasting about a month until it was dropped.
"Coming Soon" Picture
iv. Facepalm - The action of putting your palm to your face or forehead in disappointment. I personally have my thumb and middle forefingers wrap around the forehead and touch my temples, able to rub and massage them in the case I do facepalm. Variants of the facepalm include covering half your face, not covering the eyes, or placing your face against a palm tree. According to zero721ms' (old) signature, placing your face against the tree is "Doing it Wrong"

I'd like to correct you that hacking isn't a federal offense unless you do server sided hacking. Client sided hacking is considered legal, but most games mark it as illegit. However server sided hacking; Usually used to modify cash points and various other things is a federal offense and can get you locked away in prison.
Edit: I should not be typing this late at night apparently, fixed a mess of mistakes.

No matter what happens it is all about the fun. Even Pikachu had fun getting back at the poke'mon trainer.

Should add in TK (Talk/Type Killing) - Attacking or Killing a person who is in the middle of typing.
P.S - A player who might have been playing a different game where the terminology was used might use it on GC. You have the option to ignore or follow it, as it is not an official rule.
Unless you had that in mind for the PvP terms, feel free to add it in :)
