    Re: Game over Auto-kick

    Varunax:

    @Axel

    I'm not whining.

I'm making a suggestion, though I suppose if you have nothing constructive to reply with, then don't reply to my suggestion. I don't care about your leeching friends. They leech. You're basically telling me to take a hike so that your friends can leech from you and you leech from your friends. So, I guess my opinion doesn't matter to you. Why should I care about your opinion then? It doesn't hurt to take a look from both sides of the direction, but you're being narrow minded and only preferring your opinion.

You sound like you are <_< "OMG I HATE LEECHERS." Big whoop so do I, but there's nothing we can do about them. We LET one of my friends leech so we can help him out. Who's to say he doesn't pull his own at times? The closest I've leeched is as I mentioned, do some homework while in a room(Usually a Jump Room) WHILE pulling my weight. Your opinion does matter, I'm telling you why your idea isn't that good. I'm looking at both sides.

I'm not basically saying screw you guys if you die against the boss. I'm saying, I want to get rid of the leechers. Though, seeing you leech I'm not surprised that you're against my idea.

You're saying if we die to the boss, we should revive or get kicked from the game. Nice try. You're only saying I leech because I've multitasked before. Every time I do a dungeon, I pull my weight. You're being ignorant thinking you know me, so don't try that game.

Leeching is a part of games believe it or not. You want to change the game mechanics just because of a problem that can be dealt with by simple methods(Which we've explained how many times in this thread?). Even the people who don't like them have problems with this idea, including me.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

Also one last addition, not everyone in the world is as good of a gamer as you. My girlfriend plays as well and to be honest she sucks (but she laughs about it). I'm not gonna have her disconnect automatically when she dies to a boss or something. You're pretty much saying oops you suck too bad for you get some skill or leave the game.

Yes that attracts customers and players SOOOOOO much more better!

    Lorias:

I've been gaming for 19 years and have been into mmo's for the past 12 years. I think I know what a leecher is junior.

And I mentioned in my post, if you would actually read (but evidently you lack the literacy to do even that) that I've had them in my party before and it annoys me.

However I also mentioned that you are punishing the legitimate players who have the bad luck. You pretty much just said "you deserve to lose your exp if you die that much". Bull crap, you don't deserve to lose exp if you do die that much. That's a retarded and jack ass thing to say. That's like saying "oh sorry that bus hit you and you dropped your ice cream, you really don't deserve another".

Leechers are a whole problem on it's own. How about instead of suggesting something that would punish the LEGITIMATE players, you go and suggest something that would be fair for them and still destroy the leechers. Like I don't know, a VOTE kick system like someone else mentioned. Really, if one person is leeching, odds are the other people in the group are pissed at is as well (I know I am) and would vote him or her RIGHT out of the room.

Well, about your analogy, getting hit by a bus and dropping your icecream. it should be more like this.

If you got hit by a bus and you dropped your ice cream, You're Dead and you have start over Unless you use a bonus charge or nata ring.
after your 3 lives are up

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

Your experience means little to back up your opinion. You've been gaming for 19 years? Well, I've been gaming for about 15 years. What's your point? That you've been playing video games longer therefore you know more?

I'm not punishing the legitimate players at all. I'm suggesting a fix for a system that's abused by players. I would have no problem with what we have right now, but there's always someone leeching.

The voting sytem will not work. If you haven't already did some research on other topics, players can just kick people they don't like. How would you feel if people started a game, then kicked you at the last second because they didn't like you? Now, that would be totally unfair.

And.. I'm not being a jack ass. I'm being realistic.

You don't have to be dead on the spot if you get hit by a bus :x.

While I don't agree with your opinion in this thread, that made me laugh really hard. Good job heh.

Edit - The game also never mentioned that you have to have the total skill of hercules and thor to get experience in this game. The only place where skill should be a factor is PVP. Dungeons are for the people who suck at the game (or pvp in my case) and want to actually play casually.

Also if I was kicked at the beginning of a game cause someone doesn't know me, then I'd be asking why they didn't kick me in the first place in the room. And I really wouldn't care, I'd go find another room.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

    yup,

thats for those people who are too cheap to use bonus charges or nata rings after their 3 lives are up,

i mean Come on, you get 3 Freegin lives and if you die 3 times, you really have to get better at the game or you'll never learn.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

Show me anywhere on the site or faq or ANYWHERE that Ntreev says "i'm sorry if you suck so much you need to get better".

    Please.

You are really trying to hurt the players that try and that would drive away people from the game. If you want a game of skill, go play pvp.

uhh. im saying this with my own opinion i did not mention anything about Ntreev saying or being in what i feel is right and what is wrong.

    thank you.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

Then you both need to stop implying that this is what the point of the game is. The game was made this way. Suck it up and live with it or move on. We'll lose what, two players compared to everyone else that will stay. Goodbye have a nice life.

With that said, imagine that but the other end of the spectrum, you are saying that to a LOT of people (and I mean a LOT) that are legitimate players that would run from this game if it was that ludacris.

MMO's punish you for dyeing, that is true, but this isn't an MMO it's a story driven fighting game. It even says it on the damn web page. Dungeoning isn't a show of skill, it's what you do when you are bored and what keeps some people playing this game especially the ones who don't like PVP. Ntreev is trying to keep the playerbase as best as it can. And with the current cash tiers being extremely high, they are really gonna lose a lot of players if they were to say "so sorry you suck, get the hell off my game if you can't get better" because the fact of the matter is, some people don't want to have to get better to play a game, they want to have fun. And if you don't want to have fun with them, then I think you are in the wrong type of area.

umm. im sorry, i think you're in the wrong part of the fourms then, because this is obviously a Suggestion. Not a Change in the game.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

    @Axel

Okay, so you leech. End of story. So the reason why you don't support my idea is because you justify it with your own friends that you leech from. I suppose I was right on when I said "you're basically telling me to take a hike".

And up to this point, I don't particularly care about what you have to say because you haven't even bothered to read my suggestion.

    @Lorias

So, I'm taking a hike too aren't I? Because your girflriend isn't good at the game, then I have to put up with the leechers in my game..? You guys have potions, bonus lives and natal rings for a reason.

I have nothing against you or your girlfriend, but it would be very considerate if you put yourself in my shoes. This suggestion only prevents players from leeching eachother. Axel is so busy over there saying how he multitasks with his friends, but does he die all 3 times and just AFK? My suggestion is auto-kicking players with 0 lives after 30 seconds. You can still be afk with lives.

And skill? I do enough of that PvP stuff.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

And I'm sorry, but you seem to be supporting your idea as if it were a good idea.

So many people disagree, doesn't that show you how it would affect the rest of the population? Your suggestion is only as good as the support it has.

At varuna - What the hell? Do YOU read my posts? I HAVE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES. For once in this god damn thread please use the literacy that you were taught in highschool and READ.

And as an aside, my girlfriend does not leech. She doesn't like to trouble people to help her, she's independant like that, and so am I. I don't like to trouble people with my burdance. However, if I -KNOW- I'm just having some bad luck, I don't want to be punished. However with that said, that's just my nasty pride coming into play where I don't want people to help me. I know a lot of people who want to just have fun.

    Re: Game over Auto-kick

uh, obviously it would get rid of the leechers.
and more people dont have to deal with them.

unless people like you, and other are one of the many who leech.

so yeah, i do agree it is a Good Idea. Whats your point?
